Methods to change the road directions in Cities Skylines 2

The method to change the road direction in the game is fairly simple. Select the same road tool that you used to build the road. Then, starting from the last node you build, drag the tool in the opposite direction, maintaining the shape of the road. This will “update” the direction of your road to the facing you’re looking for.

This method is especially useful when building one-way roads. Sometimes it’s easier to build them from a certain side, despite the wrong facing. With this method, you can then update the road’s direction after the fact, keeping the shape intact. However, this method can be used on any kind of road, no matter the number of lanes. For instance, you can use it on a multilane road to fix badly positioned exit points without having to build ramps or roundabouts.

Also, note that a similar method can be used to upgrade roads as well. The newly upgraded roads will follow the direction in which they are built. This way, you can both upgrade and redirect your roads with a single stroke.
