Season 1 Battle Pass Was Just Revealed and Black Ops 6 Players Are Disappointed

A look at the items in Season 1 Battle Pass in Black Ops 6.

Season 1 starts on November 14, and though excited at first, players developed some doubts along the way. As you know, there are some big issues that still need to be dealt with, like hit reg, matchmaking, and Recon. Sure, the players will get some good-looking maps and new weapons, but the latest announcement left many players disappointed. The Black Ops 6 devs revealed the Season 1 Battle Pass, and, well, it isn’t what the fans were hoping for.

Lots of New Content Is Coming to Season 1

On November 12, the Black Ops 6 developers shared some more details about the upcoming Season 1 Battle Pass. The official Call of Duty page on YouTube shared: “Fight your way through 100 Tiers of rewards in the newly designed Season 01 Battle Pass. The more rewards you claim, the more pages of content you unlock. What are you grinding for first?”.

Furthermore, on the official site, you can find even more details. The devs also explained there were three ways for a player to get some or all of the content. First of all, you don’t have to purchase the Battle Pass for limited rewards. The devs noted: “Earn 20+ free rewards, including cosmetic content and base weapons”.

Of course, if you are willing to purchase the Battle Pass, you can get either the Premium or the BlackCell version. The devs explained: “Purchase the premium Battle Pass and earn up to 1,100 COD Points as you progress through the Battle Pass Pages. Or purchase BlackCell for the ultimate seasonal experience, including a variety of molten hot Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, COD points, and other rewards”.

Black Ops 6 Players Diss the Battle Pass

Unfortunately, although the Black Ops 6 devs truly tried to make the players happy with the Season 1 Battle Pass, they seemingly failed. The devoted players flooded social media with negative comments and complaints.

One player, hockey17jp, expressed their disbelief. They noted: “COD consistently releases the straight-up ugliest skins I’ve ever seen in their Battle Passes. Like who is the target audience here? Why does every female skin have dyed hair and tats? Who is buying this stuff? What do any of these skins have to do with 90’s Black Ops war operators?”.

Another player, DeadliftYourNan, mused: “How do people still settle for this gross uninspired stuff in a Battle Pass?”. Mr_Rafi added: “Those skins are genuinely awful. Arguably some of the worst skins I’ve seen in the past few years of shooters”.

As always, if you like something in this Battle Pass, go ahead and enjoy it. We believe the devs did their research, and even though the initial reactions are negative, the players will grow to enjoy this Battle Pass. Season 1 starts on November 14, so see you out there, very soon.
