With the Open Beta set to be released on August 30, the Call of Duty players are getting more and more excited with each passing day. With every new detail dissected and approved by the community, the players feel closer to Case. Lately, the Call of Duty players have pointed all their attention toward the possible return to the Vorkuta prison in Black Ops 6.
Players Will Go Back to Vorkuta in Black Ops 6
As many devoted players know, Vorkuta was already featured in the Black Ops franchise. Vorkuta was a real-life gulag. It was one of the most notorious labor camps in Soviet Russia, located very close to the Arctic Circle.
Many players gladly recall the famous eight-step escape plan that Mason and Reznov came up with. They suggested it could be applied to a mission in Black Ops 6, as well. A group of players recalled: “Step 1: Secure the keys; Step 2: Ascend from darkness; Step 3: Rain fire; Step 4: Unleash the horde; Step 5: Skewer the winged beast; Step 6: Wield a fist of iron; Step 7: Raise Hell; Step 8: Freedom”.
One popular idea was resurrecting Reznov. A player, ulyssesintothepast, noted: “I have wished for a REZNOV resurrection for every COD since BO1. IMO, there is no way something miraculous didn’t save Mason and Woods, why not Reznov? But oh well. Only BO4 messed up the future that isn’t even real anymore because of Tag Der Toten lol”.
Call of Duty Fans Suggest a Possible Mission
However, other Call of Duty players had slightly different visions for the significance of Vorkuta in Black Ops 6. While they’d love for Reznov to be resurrected, these players chose a different approach.
One of them, RdJokr1993, suggested: “My guess is that the Pantheon might be looking into Dragovich, Kravchenko, and/or Mason’s past records. They are trying to find something related to either or all of them, and Vorkuta was a major connection between them”.
So, what do you think will happen in Vorkuta this time? We are kind of hoping for a throwback mission. Additionally, we’d love to see some familiar old faces. But, who knows, we’ll all have to be patient for a little while longer.
