Season 1 is getting closer and closer, and the devs have been sharing more and more information on what’s to come. The Black Ops 6 devs decided to surprise the players with a special treat, a teaser trailer, and they also revealed which new weapons are coming in S01. So, get ready, things are heating up.
Black Ops 6 Devs Share a Teaser Trailer for S01
On November 8, the official X page for Call of Duty shared a wonderful announcement. The post read: “Time to get your hands dirty and wreak havoc. Season 01 is coming to Black Ops 6 on November 14”.
Alongside, the devs shared a teaser trailer for the upcoming Season. It seems promising, to say the least. Fans were extremely hyped after seeing the trailer, with many saying they couldn’t wait for the Season to start.
Dex Badgett stated: “About to rec havoc on Hacienda. IYKYK”. Another player, Scott James, noted: “That was a dope trailer. Can’t wait to see the first look at Citadelle Des Morts”.
However, many players chirped in with pleas for devs to fix some of the existing issues before the start of Season 1. As you know, the players have been slightly down since the start of Preseason. Consistent problems with the hit reg, matchmaking, spawns, and Recon (to list a few) soured the experience for some players. We know that Recon is getting a nerf, and the players relaxed a bit, only to be hit with the unexpected nerf of the XP rates.
Seven New Weapons Are Coming in S01
Still, the hype for S01 of Black Ops 6 is in full swing, especially following the teaser trailer, and also, the announcement of new weapons. On November 7, the official X page for Call of Duty shared which weapons were to come in Season 1.
The announcement read: “Seven new Weapons are coming across Season 01 for Players to grow their arsenal”. Two new weapons are coming at launch, Krig C (Assault Rifle) and Saug (SMG). Then, during the Season, five more weapons will be added: Maelstrom (Shotgun), AMR Mod 4 (Sniper Rifle), Sirin 9mm (Special), Power Drill (Melee Weapon), and Cleaver (Melee Weapon).
Players were over the moon after seeing this announcement. Jake noted: “Lol power drill kinda crazy NGL. So far loving the game, highest K/D I’ve Had in 10 years haha”. Another player, Luma, added: “Oof a lot of these could’ve been base game weapons. They really needed the drip feed content. I don’t blame them though”.
The expectations for Season 1 are getting higher with each new day. The new maps and the new weapons seem to have worked as a charm, as players are truly hyped. We can’t wait either, so see you out there, on November 14.
