With a plethora of different options available for players to utilize, you’ll first need to learn how to get your hands on them. The good thing is that these are easily crafted at your Homestead, and all you have to do is get there with the required items. How to Craft a Potion in Fae Farm
To craft any sort of potion, you need to do two things. First, you must gather or forage for resources required by the potion you want to make. Then, take those raw materials to the Potion Ingredients Station to prepare them into brewing ingredients. Take the finished items to the Potion Brewing Cauldron to brew the final product. You’ll then receive your desired potion.
This is fairly simple to do and only takes a bit of effort to gather the required ingredients. Once you get those, it’s just a matter of transferring materials from one crafting station to another. However, this does take a bit of time, so maybe go do something else you have pending while you wait for your potions to finish brewing.
It is worth noting that, unlike other farming skills in Fae Farm, you won’t immediately unlock Potion Brewing.
How to Unlock Potion Brewing Skill
Potion Brewing is only unlocked after you complete the first dungeon, which is the Saltwater Mines. This dungeon is part of the ‘Watery Wonder’ quest, and completing this quest gives you access to the Potion Brewing Crafting stations in your Homestead.
How to Level Up Potion Brewing
If you’re looking to level up your potion-brewing skill, the best way to do this would be to simply brew more potions. Each time you brew a potion, regardless of what potion it is, you’ll get some experience for the skill. If you keep doing it repeatedly, you’ll eventually level up the skill itself.
You should do this even if you don’t need potions right away. This is because leaving a station empty is inefficient. Also, any extra potions you don’t need, you can always sell for extra money, so it is a win-win situation.
How to Get Better Potion Recipes
As you progress through the game you’ll want access to better potions that have stronger effects. This can be done in two ways: leveling up your Potion Brewing skill and gathering new materials for potions.
Now, we discussed leveling up your Potion Brewing skill above. As for gathering new materials, this usually comes on its own as you progress through the storyline. When you enter a new zone, you’ll always find new resources to forage, and you can bring these resources back to make more powerful potions with them.
You can also unlock new materials to gather by simply wandering around and exploring the map. While the questline does take you to different areas, there might be certain areas that aren’t covered.
