Payday 3 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor Payday 2 when it comes to post-launch support. Starbreeze has already committed to the first year of post-launch DLC, and players can get one of multiple season passes to be ready for it. What Are the Payday 3 Season Passes?
The game has two season passes to choose from: Silver Season Pass and Gold Season Pass. The only way to obtain either of the passes at launch is by purchasing the Payday 3 Silver Edition or Payday 3 Gold Edition.
While both of the passes are not available to purchase separately at launch, studio Starbreeze has said that it will offer “upgrade packages” for Standard Edition owners to get the season pass content later without buying the game again. No prices for these upgrade packages have been revealed at the time of writing.
What Does the Payday 3 Season Passes Include?
The Silver Season Pass will include two heists, two tailor packs and two weapon packs over six months. Meanwhile, the Gold Season Pass will include four heists, four tailor packs and four weapon packs for the first year after launch.
Both season passes will offer the same content when it releases, but the Silver pass will contain half of what is offered in the Gold pass. Players will also have the option to purchase the individual DLC packs when they release.
