Film Class Junkies – "Joy is a bit of a mess. Yes, there is this triumphant ending, yet the viewer has to walk through a whole lot of sludge to get there. Perhaps there is a good movie somewhere… This is simply disappointing because it has a great premise, with a fantastic director and cast. But it turns out to be as memorable as the items sold on QVC."
