Here’s something that Apple probably didn’t envisage when it launched the HealthKit platform alongside iOS 8: an app that uses statistical averages to try and work out when you’re doing to die. Deadline ($0.99 on iTunes) taps into the information you’ve given HealthKit and poses a few basic lifestyle questions to make its prediction.
