Self Made Miracle Interview – Sadistic Circus Extravaganza
Pixels for Breakfast writes: Though we consider the games industry to be niche in the Netherlands, its indie scene is thriving and it’s potentially growing to become one of the largest in Europe. The indie scene is mostly spread out over Utrecht, Amsterdam and Hilversum, with the biggest concentration of indie developers being located at the heart of Utrecht, at the Dutch Game Garden, a single building hosting over 60 game studios. Some of the most talented Dutch studios are based here, including Abbey Games (Reus), Vlambeer (Luftrausers, Nuclear Throne), Ragesquid (Action Henk), Self Made Miracle (Penarium) and Ronimo Games (Awesomenauts, Swords & Soldiers) and this assorted mix of creativity and expertise is what makes the Dutch Game Garden a veritable breeding ground for start-up game companies.
