Even if you hate the genre, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy Another Crab’s Treasure thanks to its bevvy of accessibility features.
The Outerhaven writes: Another Crab's Treasure is the most accessible Soulslike I've ever played, and it's a great jump-in point for those who've always wanted to play a Soulslike.
Given the success of Aggro Crab’s most recent game, Another Crab’s Treasure, the studio should prove that lightning can strike twice.
Or just let them move on to a sequel or a new game. Not everything needs dlc.
WTMG's Aaron Price: "In a world absolutely oversaturated with Soulslikes at the moment, it’s hard to say that Another Crab’s Treasure will even make a splash. While it’s cute, and has the difficulty levels to fit the genre, the actual controls don’t feel particularly cooperative, and I found when I was trying to dodge attacks, I would very rarely move the way I feel like I should. Unlike other games in the genre, Another Crab’s Treasure starts to look bland very quickly. The world feels very samesy throughout a lot of it, with the main colour you’ll be looking at being blue. I understand being in the ocean, but not everything has to have some sort of blue filter over the top of it. You know what they say about one man’s trash though, it’s Another Crab’s Treasure."
