New Xbox Games 2024: Every Confirmed Release Date So Far

The New Year is here, and so it's time to look ahead at all the confirmed release dates for Xbox games in 2024.

Lightning77151d ago

HB2, Stalker 2, Flight Sim 2, South Of
Midnight, Avowed are in 2024. A game that I completely over looked was Double Fines new multiplayer game called Kiln. Might get shown off this year.

3rd party such as 33 Immortals in 2024 while Stalker 2 is actually Q1 of this year. Looks like a good year to me from Xbox.

N4g doesn't like it? Gee I'm shocked. What's wrong with this list then?

Nacho_Z150d ago (Edited 150d ago )

That's a really weak list to be fair.

Lightning77150d ago (Edited 150d ago )

I'm other words Xbox can have games and you'll never like what they offer despite yelling at the top yalls lungs (including me) that they need games. They have games and you suddenly don't like any of them, again shocker N4G hates anything on Xbox tell me something that's not surprising. If it was on PS you be chest pounding those games trust me. Especially HB2.

Lightning77150d ago

Ok so what's your strong list of games then?

itsmebryan150d ago

@Nacho
Weak compared to what?

Nacho_Z150d ago

Quite the assumption maker aren't you. No, I wouldn't be pounding my chest about any of those games in any circumstance hence my comment about it being a weak list.

I didn't fancy the original Hellblade so excuse me if I'm not interested in the sequel.

Lightning77150d ago

It's talking about 3rd party also so I guess Dragons Dogma 2 is meh as well.

Einhander1972150d ago

I'm getting Rise of the Ronin instead.

Lightning77150d ago (Edited 150d ago )

I'm also getting Rise Of The Ronin. I don't gate myself off because of fanboyism. Btw nice salty downvotes lol gotta love it.

Julion0715150d ago

You know how it goes around here the usual haters doing their daily routine of hate

Einhander1972150d ago (Edited 150d ago )

Oh then I'm surprised you didn't mention it since they release on the same day. I'm surprised you were so bothered by my comment since you're clearly not a fanboy.

Murdability150d ago

I’ve got a series x and a ps5…. Still meh lol

Crows90150d ago

So you're getting a game without knowing if it reviews well ...ummm. I guess if you havent learned your lesson yet. I wouldn't say I'll buy rise of the ronin any more than senua 2. Wait for reviews you trust.

Lightning77150d ago

@Ein the article is about Xbox and third party. Last I check Rise Of The Ronin isn't coming to Xbox.

Nice try tho.

I have issues like anyone else but fanboyism isn't one of them thank goodness.

banger88150d ago

"Confirmed Release Date" doesn't mean much. Everything has the potential to be pushed back, way back. Look at Starfield, got pushed back by almost a year. I can't get hyped for a game unless it's within around 2 months of release, pretty unlikely they're going to announce a delay at the last second.

P_Bomb150d ago (Edited 150d ago )

Looking forward to the console exclusives. Will find my house again in Flight Sim hehe, then do some Hellbladin’

REDGUM150d ago

And this Xbox list is pinned in the PS5 article section why exactly?

kevco33150d ago

There's a lot of PS5 games with release dates in here, too.

"Misaligned peach fuzz around Senua's neck and face has been corrected"

ahh, just the patch ive been waiting for, can jump in now, safe in the knowledge, misaligned hairs have been aligned...

what a Day to be alive

Sciurus_vulgaris21h ago

You don’t even notice peach fuzz on most people, unless you look really close.

Scissorman4h ago

It's such a shame the game isn't selling too well.

jwillj2k44h ago(Edited 4h ago)

Boring + walking sim + QTE fighting = full r

Never go full r

CobraKai1h ago

I like it when devs do something different. I’d love to support every game that separates itself from the boring and tired FPSs.

My issue with H2 is that there is no physical release. Id love to play this game, but i need a physical release. If one never comes, then so be it.

The story tramples over the foundations set in the first game. Senua is insane. She sees things that aren't there. Hears things that aren't there. The enemies she fights were monstrous "demons" but were they really?? Likely not. They were just men. In the old game, the voices in her head are openly antagonistic. It made you further question her sanity and her grip on reality.

In Hell Blade 2 (granted I haven't finished yet) the monsters ARE real. Everyone can see them. Gods and giants aren't just fables. They are there in the flesh threatening humanity. The voices in her head are cheerleaders now. Senua's story has taken on the "Chosen One" quasi-mary sue element.

Hellblade 2 erased the main reason Senua and her story was interesting. They butchered her.

It's been a long time since I played the original but in this game they have fully turned her father into a villain that was just "holding her back". Because of course he's just an evil man trying to hold her down. And now he's the one who led the mob that killed her mother and burned her at the stake.

Like I said before, it's been a while since I played the first game but from what I remembered, he loved his wife. She went insane like Senua and was killed. He started seeing the same signs of insanity in Senua and sequestered them away from the village to protect her from them.

If he's the one who lead the mob to burn his wife at the stake, why the fuck would he hide Senua away from the village? The puzzles are mind numbingly simple in this game too. That's secondary to the way they butchered the world they set up in the first game.

After I beat the first game, I always felt it was a mistake for Senua to have survived. She should have died at the end with her beloved like a classic Greek Tragedy. The first game was a beautiful story, the sequel ruins everything that was special about it.

I agree with everything you said, Xbox fan girls need to destroy their consoles and quit gaming.

babadivad4m ago

@Rynixe

Chill with the fanboy crap. The first time I played Hellblade was on Playstation. I obviously have an Xbox as well since I'm playing the sequel. I have had both consoles since launch. I'm giving my honest review of a video game and comparing it to its predecessor. Don't look any deeper than the words I put in my working review. I'm not a fanboy. To be honest, Playstation "fanboys" should be terrified if Microsoft really leaves the industry.

Sony with no competition is a terrible site indeed. People have the shortest memories. I have also been warning you guys about this. Microsoft leaving gaming is going to be the worst thing to happen to Playstation fans.

Capcom kind of fumbled with this game.
This could have been GOTY 2024 but no.
