It's such a disgusting situation.
- Mass graves are being uncovered with civilians and children. The Russian war crimes seem quite extensive.
- Ukrainians are making up ground but with loads of Russian soldiers on the way, it will still be tough for them.
- Genuine threat of tactical nukes being used on Ukraine.
- Loads of disorganized Russian conscripts will soon be killed because of Putin's ego, which is also terrible.

This invasion is a waste of life that achieved nothing - a good way to sum up Putin. Shame on the people who made excuses for his actions.

If people think Biden has nothing to do with Ukraine, I think Hunter's laptop says otherwise. Why is it that billions of dollars is sent to Ukraine with no oversight on where and how the money is spent.

Just because I question and do not blindly believe what I've been feed does not make me any eviler than the next person, what is does tell me is I at least have some form of critical thinking. People need to look at this objectively and analyse all information on both side before forming an opinion on the situation, because both sides deploy propaganda and misinformation to control the narrative.

A recent article by The Guardian from September 21 says Zelensky has a 5- point peace formula. "The five points include punishment for crimes of aggression, protection of life, restoration of security and territorial integrity, security guarantees and determination of Ukraine to continue defending itself."

That plan seems very unreasonable and punitively unrealistic. Am I wrong? Where is the middle ground in that negotiation? That sounds like peace demands, not peace negotiations. There is a huge difference.

Rest in peace, it's a sad state of affairs. I will never support war of any kind, especially since i have seen and experienced the last war in Europe that preceded the current one.

It's also sad how easily gullible a lot of you folks are in the comments. I sure as hell don't trust Russian propaganda, any more than the western propaganda (especially from the likes of USA, that call this a ''illegal war'' (...) which is adorable when you look at their conflict history and war crimes).

To end, it's also a very naive thing to say that Russia will in any shape or form ''lose'' the war:
1) They already annexed 4 provinces with probability of more of them on the way.
2) Ukrainian economy was already mediocre even before the war. And now most of the infrastructure is mostly destroyed.
3) Ukraine will likely not enter NATO after this war ends

Russia pretty much achieved their goal.

As i said, i will never support any wars, but to say that this war was unprovoked is delusional. End of the day, no matter what you think and say ... my Slavic brothers and sisters are dying, all while you all argue like small children over who is a worse politician of the media-empire known as USA.

How about instead of arguing, you actually do something good in your day ... like donating clothes and food for the coming winter in Ukraine, cuz that winter will be the ultimate test for all of them ... and based on gas prices, for a lot of western world aswell.

Sad news. Really sad, considering that i love Metro universe (both books by Glukhovsky and games by 4A studios).
I wish no one would die and suffer from this senseless war, not civilians (they're completely innocent, both russian and ukranians), not regular army (they're just doing their job, not the ones that give out orders). I hope that politicians and diplomats would just stop this and start negotiating. And will be responsible in the end for the consequences. But sadly, i feel like they wouldn't do that.

There's a saying in serbian, «During war, politicians give out ammunition, rich give out the food and the poor give out their children. When the war is over, politicians shake hands and get back the leftover ammunition, the rich grow more food and the poor search for the graves of their children.». I wish it would be false, but that's the truth. For both sides. And rich and politicians never share the responsibility for their actions, but the poor do. Wish this would stop, but some might consider this an «extremism» or something.
