WW sales show COD 4 @ 2.47 mil on 360 1.14 mil on ps3 so a little better given the bigger install base, how do you think infinity ward is looking at this. Well we should have sold way more than double the amount of the ps3 because of the 360 install base, or probably the more likely version of we sold over 2 mil 360 and only 1 mil ps3. The point is it sold more. I got one for you given the lack of quality games on the ps3 I figured that it should have sold as much as the 360.

Dammit, I was hoping for BioShock or Mass Effect to win. COD4 is great but I really think that Bio and ME are the top 2 best overall games of 2007 let alone Xbox 360 games of 2007.
And WTF!? Lost Planet the best action game? No AC!!??

Actually Halo fever is not over. The gave the award for Innovation to Halo 3!!! Not BioShock, Not Portal, Not COD4's Multiplayer, Not AC.
And it's funny how Infinity Ward isn't even nominated for best dev.

Agreed. While I prefered Bio or ME to win, COD4 is also worthy of the GOTY title.

Still, can't help but shake my head. BioShock should have won. At least it won PC GOTY. Sadly Mass Effect only won story and RPG awards if I'm not mistaken. It deserved more, way more and so did AC to win at least 1 award and to be nominated in some categories.

12 - COD4 was a huge disappointment

Interesting that the best title for the 360 looks like last gen compared to Uncharted on PS3. I had just picked up COD4 after finishing Uncharted and was totally bored. It must be the multi player that is selling that game but the look and feel is passe.

Really expected it to go to Bioshock... it's definitely sort of odd that it went to a multiplatform game. I'd have given it to Bioshock myself, that game was just better overall in my opinion.

As a shooter or fps or an online MP game, its goty but not overall goty. Bio or ME should have taken that title because they are way more immersive, with deep storylines.

BTW this is way better than COD3 as some of you are saying they are same. I have both and i couldn't rest without finished cod4 and i have't bothered finishing cod3.

Great bubble worthy comment. Agreed on all fronts specially Bio and ME being the true GOTY worthy games. Also agreed on COD4, it's a much more superiour shooter than COD3 and is easily among 2007's best.

It's good to see none of XBOX 360's garbage games have made GOTY. The best games on XBOX are also on PLAYSTATION 3®. And that does include Bioshock, Mass Effect and Ninja Gaiden in 2008.

I believe that GOTY are judge by there multiformat abilites, Unchanted may be the best visual game on the PS3 but it's not multiplatform,

So sorry if this sounds like flaming.

This is a joke there is no way that we should be making comparison between the two consoles, you see on paper the PS3 has the 360 beaten, but out there in the real world away from the what's good on paper 360 rocks, the question is are dev's delivering the what is possible or not.

You tech- heads find me answer that make sence and reply.

Back to GOTY: I wouldn't have picked halo 3 neither although it's the only game i play of late, VF5 is great online so Fz2 and Pro street good games but Halo got me, (Halo 3 you either come to love it or hate it)
