Image: First case of Xbox 360 65nm CPU / GPU (Falcon) RROD

It didn't take long, but the first reports of the new 65nm CPU / GPU (code named Falcon) overheating has just surfaced. Seen on the picture is a limited edition Xbox 360 Halo 3 edition. This system incorporates the rumored 65nm chipset.

I know this is old, but I've been doing research on the different xbox 360 revisions...and stumbled upon this post. Last year sometime, around the Halo 3 launch, I bought the Halo 3 limited edition 360 and sold it because upon opening it up and doing the research THEN, I found it was not a falcon console, and thus, not did not have a 65nm CPU or the updated heatsink. It was definitely a Zephyr. From what I'm seeing, the best way to tell is to look at the power adapter to see the wattage. For instance, the falcons have 175w power adapters while the jaspers have 150w adapters. I believe the Zephyrs had the same 203w power adapter the xenon had, given the fact it still used 90nm parts.

EDIT: You can barely see that this console has a 12v rail of 16.5a, meaning it is NOT equipped with a 65nm CPU. A falcon system with a 65nm CPU and 90nm GPU has a 12v rail of 14.2a.
