it seemed pretty bare boned to me... but i believe itll get better when they add exclusive halo content on it and such. Id also like to see them get help from bungie as bungie.net is a great example for what waypoint should be.

It was free though (no gold membership needed as long as you had access to a browser) so I guess that may have been a problem.

I want another God of War, but supposedly that's over with 3. Evidently you don't like halo, so why don't you move along. It's not like you are offering anything.

You can't put the word Fanservice and Gold subscribers in the same sentence.

This is more like an added incentive to Gold subscribers than a Fanservice in general for Halo Fans. You can only call something a "Fanservice", if all your fans can enjoy it and it's free. The moment that you have to pay for it or need certain priveledges to access it, then that means it's "Business" already.

I do think that R&C is being milked. After seven games it's getting a little stale. Be that as it may, I have yet to see a R&C drink, book, film or anime though.

When PS3 fans say the word milking it reminds me of 5 Metal Gears, 13 Final Fantasys with about 8 spin offs, 10 Sing Star, 5 Grand Turismo and 5 more that are just demos. Isn't there like 6 or 7 SOCOM's and like 6 Ratchet and Clanks? <--^^^ Hypocrisy at it's finest right there.

You have me wrong, I'm not trying to Bash it in anyway. In my opinion Halo 1 was the best Halo of the sires.

Halo 2 was great, but shorter than it's original counterpart. Halo 3 then was shorter, and the graphics weren't that big of a upgrade of Halo 2's. It was more like Halo 2.5.

Then the Halo RTS came out and ODST. I was not trashing Halo but trying to state my opinion.

How can it be a P2P service? It would require that users already had the waypoint built-in. The information is obviously coming from a Microsoft server so it's not P2P...

Do you actually know what P2P is, or is it just a buzzword for hating on Xbox Live?

yea, i find that some fan(boys) of specific consoles use words that they read in reviews, blogs, etc...and repeat it on the net as if they know what they are talking about, only to make themselve look pretty stupid cause they used it in the wrong context

I'm sporting the ODST armor with a little guilty sparks type guy, i'll probably change it once everyone else has it but they're pretty cool and probably the only way i would have it seeing as i refuse to buy dress up clothes for my xbox doll.

Haha, PS3 fanboys are saying that every time a new feature gets added into XBL Gold you are automatically paying for it.

IF the price of the membership doesn't go up, that means you're not PAYING for it.

For example, if I go to buy a BMW that costs 50,000 bucks, and the dealer starts adding new features in it, do I start yelling, "Wait, you're making me pay 50,000 bucks for this DVD player?" If he starts adding better brakes into the car, do I start yelling, "wait, you're making me pay 50,000 bucks for better brakes?"

No jackasses, people who already have XBL Gold are not "paying" for these new features. They're already paying for the membership. These features are being added into XBL, without further charge. Stop being PS3 fanboys and start playing games.
