MS are like leeches, any game they think will sell well or be a success they will pay any money to be a part of. It shocked me to see only Xbox live representatives at the MW2 multiplayer press event, it makes me think some sort of a deal might be struck for extra content or ultimatly exclusivity. I'm not happy.

Its a great looking bundle. BUT its WAY too much money. The PS3slim plus COD4 for $360.00 is a way better value. MS needs to go back to the drawling board on price. Maybe if this was 299.00 than its a ok deal, but seriously its still lacking compared to the PS3slim price point.

The 360 bundle has a 250gb HDD about a $200 value and MW2 $70 and an extra controller $30. Those 3 are the same value as the Slim so an Elite with MW2, 250gb HDD, two wireless controllers, full backwards compat and access to Live and Netflix at $399 is a hell of alot sexier.

Wait, what? " full backwards compat"?

Huh? Not only is Xbox 360 not "full backwards compat", there aren't nearly as many Xbox 1 titles worth buying among the 50% or so compatible titles. Hell, the PS1 library is MUCH better than the Xbox library, and PS3 has "full backwards compat" with PS1. I can get a 250GB for MUCH CHEAPER than $200, and you can exchange that $120 gig HDD so that it ends up even cheaper. Since when did COD:MW2 cost $70 anyway? Stop trying to pass lies under the radar.

If anyone wants "full backwards compat" with the PS3, they'll go to e-Bay and get a 60 Gig (and why would anyone want "full BC" with the first Xbox anyway? The few titles it has are more than enough considering how mediocre the first Xbox's library was). It's not like BC will never return anyway.

Nice stealth edit right there. Anyway, PS3 has its own rental service and has thousands of films, so Netflix is unnecessary, and Blu-ray >>>>> Netflix quality. BTW, access to Live isn't free so you better add a $50 yearly fee for the amount of years you plan to use your 360 (until you get tired of RROD I'm guessing).

Why? because almost everyone here already has one or both consoles. For people who plan on buying stuff with their elite this bundle could be good for them.

Its funny how many people talk trash about vg charts and then talk about amazon sales like either one matters. If you compare this bundle to the slim its kinda funny as the bundle isnt out for 2 months and the slim is out now. Any of these bundle sales wont be reflected in sales till NOV 10th so whats the point? Amazon is not really a good indicator of sales, not to mention that there are multiple 360 SKUs and no one knows what the difference between sales spots 1,2,3 etc.. is.

The way I see it is taht both the ps3 and the 360 are looking to have a good holiday, especially considering the wii is starting to sell less and less.

I think this site needs more news about games, and less news about the consoles. Especially all this prediction/competition stuff. Everything is being turned into a competition between the consoles even though neither one is going anywhere. These articles are useless as everytime we get one saying this, anothor one is written that says that.

Iv been wondering for a while now why most the news here is from blogs and noname sites. Im pretty sure people here create a blog and then contribute their stories. If you read the comments here you can see why that would be a bad thing no matter what company's azz you kiss.

The bundle is definitely worth the 400 bucks.

$300 console, extra controller, $60 game, 250gb, and limited edition MW2 faceplate.

If ur planning on buying a 360 with Modern Warfare 2, then why wouldn't u buy this version. The problem is that people don't like seeing a 400 dollar price tag on a console anymore even though its worth it. However, when the PS3 was 400 bucks it sold pretty well. If anythg, its meant more to make people thk that the 360 version is best version for the simple fact that Sony isn't putting its name around it.

report is kind of garbage, i just yesterday wanted to reserve one, and every gamestop and best buy in the region is already sold out of reserves, the story i got was they are only allowed so many reserves per store but my region covers 4 states so i know that much. i'm thinking it actually is gonna help sales some, maybe not record breaking numbers but c'mon its a limited edition, its just like RE5 consoles they sold out of them but they didn't break records.

Statistically speaking, it won't help sales. It's unlikely that anyone was waiting for the 360 to be released with 2 controllers, a 250 GB HDD and bundled with COD4's sequel. And by unlikely I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying that the amount of people buying the 360 for these particular bundle are very few. Most would have bought the 360 anyway and found this deal better than the $299 "Elite". It's merely sweetening the deal for those that were going to buy the game, the console and the controller. And of course, the few double dippers that think buying yet another 360 is a smart choice because of the new look, in spite of its hardware issues.

If we see an increase in sales, it won't be because of these bundle, it will be because the holiday season is approaching.

Well that's just it is has been doing good. NOBODY is claiming it's going to move mass amount of consoles but it will help. It's a good bundle. I've never seen more crap thrown about over a bundle before.

But anyway, not even sure why this was posted. It gives no information at all and most of the text is the MS press release.

No its up after being down. I think you missed my point. The Bundle is making a difference hence the Super Elite SKU being high on the list and my comment in here lol. The 360 has 4 SKUs on the market, just one of them being that high up the list is saying a lot. The 360 is never high on the list due to the amount of Skus yet 360 always wins NPD lol.

That was my exact thought. I am sure there will be those that were waiting to get an extra 360, and there are those that just can't resist the exterior design change. Other than that, we all pretty much already HAVE a console on which to play it. I could see one of those "360 has sold xx% articles in the near future...because there will be an increase in the steady sales. What impact that has on the already 23 million plus user base is a whole other question entirely!?!?

now that both systems are 300 dollars and the fact that one lets you play online for free....hardware quality, bluray, blutooth, may have an impact on sales as well.

i think sony can really put up some impressive numbers.
