"Too often, an old game becomes an "extreme" game with the addition of pulsating light displays and techno music. But after the colorful, swirling backgrounds turn to black, Space Invaders Extreme is still just Space Invaders, a game that is over 30 years old. Shooting Space Invaders never gets old and retro gaming fans will find at least a week's worth of fun here. The game won't take over your life the way Mega Man 9 or Pac-Man: Championship Edition did, but you'll still have an enjoyable time. And it will only require 40 quarters (converted into Microsoft Points of course)."
