NMH2 is a first-day purchase for me.

And I'm certainly interested in Galaxy 2, RS2, Gladiator A.D., Grinder and MH3.

But Other M is far and away my biggest must have for next year. I've been playing the hell out of Super Metroid lately, rediscovering just how kickass it is. And I can't wait for a modern take on that style of playing. Don't get me wrong...I'm a Prime junkie, but it's been since 1994 that a console Metroid played out in third person.

That's a great list but I think Max and the Magic marker is a bit too high but all those games would go back one place anyway because Crystal Bearers is top for me(Feb 2010 in the UK).

i'm looking the most forward to the new trailer for the next main zelda game. it HAS to release next year, especially since that artwork was released at e3 this year.

I really hope you're right, but I'm not sure that's gonna be the case.

Nintendo already has Galaxy 2, Other M and Sin and Punishment 2 slated for next year. Kid Icarus and Retro's secret project are possibilities, too. That's a pretty loaded year for them, and who knows what else is in the works? Plus, has there ever been a year when Nintendo put out a proper new Mario, Metroid and Zelda all in the same year?

Since we'll get Mario and Metroid next year, I think it's possible that Nintendo holds off on the next Zelda 'til 2011 (maybe Retro's project, too). It's their last big gun. Then they'd be set up for a new console in 2012.

Of course, I'd sure like Zelda to drop next year...

What escapes me is why Crystal Bearers and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom fail to make that list.

Yes, they really should be on there but I think Crystal Bearers is left out because both Japan and America are getting it in 2009, however late in 2009 it will be.

Crystal Bearers is coming out on December 26th in NA, so that's why that wasn't on there. And I could have sworn Tat VS Cap was coming out sometime in December. Guess I'll have to make an edit.

Have you guys seen the new red steel 2 trailer and the new NMH2 trailers? Those two games are going right at each other right now. Which is pretty cool.

Other things missing are the other 1st party games from nintendo's group of studios.

Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is looking good also.
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories will be coming out soonish also.
Sengoku BASARA 3 is looking good also.

here are some Wii you tube if you haven't seen what is coming. I don't have time to post news to this site so track me if you want real news with out the bias opinions of the seemingly butt hurt hardcore.

If you have not seen these you seriously need to.

What is funny is this is what res evil 5 looks like on the Wii... why they can not make this like the old res evil is beyond me.

No More Heroes 2, Galaxy 2, and Other M are first day buys. The rest I'm not sure about. The 2 games from High Voltage definitely look interesting though.
