GameInformer uses Black screenshot for a Conduit article

I'm not sure if it's a bias against Wii, really. They gave the remake of Okami a good score, even though they weren't wild about the control scheme, and they gave LoZ:TP a perfect score (I'll never understand their score for NMH, though).

I think that, more and more, they just have a bias toward digging high-def FPS at the expense of other genres. That's why I let my subscription expire.

I know I hate that damn waggle box. Sold mine a while ago.

Still less than 10 games that I think are worth having on the Wii, and that's including games yet to release. :/

5 - black was an awesome game
the level of destruction was epic and it honestly did feel like gun porn. i wish all games made their weapons feel like they had as much weight as these guns did. Now they just have to announce black 2 and i can die happy.

That's a roundtable with editors from each console division, and I've gotta say...IGN is usually fairly immune to fanboyism, but it positively reeks in that article.

The Wii's success is due to "superficial consumerism"? It reminds me of when people talked about the PS2 having its sales inflated due to having a cheap DVD player.

Nintendo "is in La-La Land competing for an audience that doesn't care about games"? Galaxy was IGN GOTY. LoZ:TP was a 70-hour epic for core gamers. Brawl is...Brawl. The Prime trilogy is coming out, Other M is in the pipeline, plus SMG2 and Motion+Zelda are on the way. Just because Nintendo also makes Wii Fit, they're in "la-la land"? What a bunch of b.s.

And on top of the Wii bashing, there's the PS3 vs. 360 fanboyism.
"My system is more reliable!"
"Well mine has better online!"
"But the PS3's online is free!"
"Doesn't matter, because the 360 is for real gamers!"
etc. etc. etc.

It's freakin' ridiculous. And really, really tired. If I wanted to see immature fanboys insulting each other, I'd just click one of the inflammatory headlines on here. It's embarrassing to read it coming from EDITORS of a reputable review site.

anyone else notice the other screen is from he game's pre-beta build? And combined with a screen shot from black... Oh gameinformer... you are so funny. i've never bought one of their magazines, and never plan too.
