SCEJA Press Conference 2014 announced for September 1

Sony has announced the SCEJA Press Conference 2014 for September 1.

i hope it's a wake up call for japanese gaming industry this time!
i am really starting to let go of gaming because western games aren't offering any variety anymore in terms of AAA titles.

Sony have long time been talking about bringing famous franchises back, we still haven't seen anything of this.

Vita can go to hell lol . I'm not expecting anything big for it which means anything announced for it is not for me. I hope we see one of these classics only for PS4 : Dark could - Tenchu - Ape escape

Edit : I own the vita and i didn't touch it for months , i don't like what they are doing with it , i'm really disappointed and regret buying it because i expected big stuff but didn't see it. That's why i prefer if they focus on ps4 from now on like Gamescom. Every time they show stuff for it in conference is always a waste of time.

Ni no Kuni 2 it depends on Level-5. They could do same they did before.
Ni No Kuni DS then PS3 version.

Note both version were different.

I think it also depends on what Studio Ghibli is doing. I heard they are restructuring and so not making anything for the time being. I can't imagine Level-5 wanting to make another without them

It's been confirmed it's a PS4 focused show, so don't expect anything for Vita from Sony, seriously lol

Saying that, third-parties are bringing tons of good stuff to Vita so I wouldn't be surprised to see some new stuff from them. I'm hoping we get another Y's game from Falcom personally or perhaps some footage of Demon Gaze 2, maybe a new SRPG from NIS? Wishful thinking I know but oh well.

Gravity rush is perfect for vita. I wouldn't enjoy it as much if it were on ps3. If they ever want to bring it to ps4 they will need to evolve every single thing about it. If not then i don't see it fit in there. It is a big IP on vita but it will be a psn game if it comes to ps4 xP ..

I think that Gravity Rush is the only game that, while doesn't use every Vita feature, it uses each future beautifully. Everything is selectable with the touchscreen as it's supposed to be, and it also feels perfectly implemented. The motion sensor works perfectly (when set at 100%). Zoom feature with multitouch. It's just the prime example of how a game on the Vita should be.

The only downside is that, in my opinion, they should have used the back touch pad for the gravity slide instead of the touchscreen.

Everything above is the reason I want Gravity Rush on the Vita. However, I also would love a much bigger world, much better graphics and better gameplay, so I'd also like GR 2 to be on the PS4.

It will most likely be on PS Vita though.

I really hope they are going to show some new JRPGs. I think Shuhei-san already said in an interview that they need games that Japanese people like. So hopefully they are going to announce something like that. And of course I still have hopes for Ni No Kuni 2.

Hmmm... P.T., aka Silent Hills, according to Hideo Kojima was supposed to give players a hard time beating it for about 1-2 weeks. Could it be that this SCEJA presser was meant to fully unveil SHs?

On the side note: I'm quite sure that there will be surprise announcements at this event. Sony mentioned that they are aware of the minimal presence of the PS4 in Japan but excellent around the world. This could be Sony's response to that.

Disclaimer: This is one big guess from me.

Although, I would welcome that with open arms. I really want the Vita to do well, since I've been enjoying it a lot lately with PS4 remote play and playing some of the older gems that I've skipped on until now.
