Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.

Slow and boring is destiny...is not the future...halo will be better...@nd titanfall already is better than destiny... (opinion)
I don't think it's a complete evolution of Halo. It is definitely progression though, with the open world setting and MMORPG leveling. The drop-in/drop-out public events are cool too. I just wish there was an option to allow voice chat with everyone. Like, have it have others on mute by default if they want, and you can manually switch it.
I honestly feel the graphics are held back by it being cross-gen, because though it looks really nice in some regards, in other ways it's kinda lacking. Some texture resolutions are pretty last gen when you get up to them, and when the background has lots of shrubbery and trees and stuff, moving around you can see the aliasing fuzziness. The characters and enemies look nice, but some could be even higher polycounts with more detail in general.
I'd like the next game in the series to be split up on last and current gens. Kind of like Assassin's Creed Unity is next gen and a different one is going to last gen. So that way they can give us a much more advanced engine for the game that is geared fully towards nextgen. I think it could look way better, even with a similar style, the AI could probably get atleast slightly better also.
