Kamil from PushStartPlay writes: Now that the E3 has officially finished, and the dust of consumerist turmoil has settled, it is finally time to take a step back, and look at the ‘’Electronic Entertainment Expo’’ from much more logical, and objective perspective. This year’s show was much calmer, than the ones that came
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Behavior Interactive Inc. revealed a new content update for Dead By Daylight, with a Chatoic Modifier, Store Update, and TOME 19: SPLENDOR.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage is out this summer, an adult-themed action platformer featuring a hero cat with a hoverboard that fights against mutated toys who destroyed the world.
The author seems confused
I don't think math is his strong point as both manufactures showed 8 games at E3
The author is also concerned that developers are working on games for product to be released "in about 2 years time", but at the same time praises games that have no release date and we may well not see "in about 2 years time".
The author also stated that MOST 4K tv's cost over 2000 pounds????
Dear Author, 2013 called, they want their tv prices back.
Not so confusing but definitely funny. I mean the Xbone Slim is beneficial for people with 4K TVs when it comes to video. But for games the console is still fairly useless and wasted on a person with a 1080p capable TV from 2006. Most games, even exclusives, can't even take advantage of the capabilities of these decade old TVs. And the games that do (hit full native 1080p that is) are never that next gen looking.
Its not confusing at all, its pretty clear what the Xbone is and what its weaknesses have been since launch, that even the most hardcore fans can't ignore anymore now with the announcement of the GDDR5 Scorpio.
This part doesn't make sense from a reasoning or business view:
"...but the truth is that few months after the initial release of the new machine, Xbox One, and most importantly Xbox One S, will be simply left behind, as third party publishers along with some of the in-house teams, will simply not waste their time on the creation of two different games, for two different machines. Especially when you throw PlayStation 4K (NEO) into the mix."
Why would third party developers and publishers in general tell their teams to ignore the install base? It'd be in their best interest to make their games work across all of the "Xbox Family". I just don't get the reason that because Microsoft said it, it's bad - but when Sony has a console refresh/sku add it's a blessing from the heavens and they'll surely support it. In terms of "spending millions to support old hardware" it's a similar situation to PC though right? You won't be running Witcher 3 on a 15 year old GPU - and it's in MS' best interest to ensure their games go back across all the Xbox One skus. You don't see games coming out now saying "sorry only works on a GTX10-series" and Microsoft isn't that stupid. I'll say the point made about the parents going in to a store to ask for an Xbox One definitely will happen, and is a good point "Xbox Ones?" will surely pop up a few times. Also you've got to find new places to shop for 4K Tv's.
Games are written in DirectX and using an X86 based Architecture. Scaling games isn't that big of an issue. Especially if you know which graphics cards and CPU's are in play. You don't make two separate games, you just scale the game you are making to run as well as possible based on the resources available.

Sony are doing the same as Microsoft , bring out neo why ? To aim at players who want the best graphics etc , you don't want it buy PlayStation 4 you get the same games.
Microsoft - Xbox one , Xbox s , Xbox Scorpio , Windowows 10 all Powered by Xbox live , aimed at Diffrent users
How difficult is this to understand for people and media. No one is forcing you to upgrade to a new console and trade in games , no one is saying that you have to buy a PC now( infacf PC gaming is more popular with steam and Linux systems than Windows , so gears will not be aviable unless you are a Windows user using Xbox live market place )
Cross play is a great idea more people to play agaisnt and the idea of picking up a laptop and going away say a trip and bringing your Xbox live games with you is great.
It's not hard to understand , people prefer all Diffrent ways to play for Diffrent reason why not give people choice instead of forcing us into gimmicks like Kinect and motion controls , some people only turn Xbox or PlayStation on for 2 hours a day , others play non stop on high end graphics on PC agaisnt or PC users , and miss out on Xbox one games , that they would like to try but only on PC . So give them that choice.
It's not hard to understand , and this whole exclusive thing is taken out of context ... You associate games with that brand not the machine it's on , uncharted games PlayStation game , not exclusive to PlayStation 4 only as you can play it on ps1 , 2 , 3 , vita has a spin off version , and 4 ... It's associated with the brand and exclusive to PlayStation no matter what system they bring out
Halo ... Xbox game associated with the Xbox brand , can play it on any machine that is associated with Xbox
Pokem - Nintendo can play it on all kinds of Nintendo devices or things that are made by Nintendo
Not all games make it to brand level , they try one or 2 games on a console and either fails so they re boot it or go multi platform , or leave the game as a one off.
How can people are articles not understand this concept and miss lead everyone on what is a simple message from both Sony and ms
You want a high end console under our brand there you go , you don't want it there's one for you too
Easy simple
