The upside to backwards compatibility on Xbox One is you will never have to pay to play the Xbox 360 games which you already own. For Playstation Now, the upside is that the service will always have more PS3 games in their library than you own, as well as the eventual launch of PS4 games, all of which you can play instantly.
Ultimately, we believe you’ll be in great hands with which ever service you decide to embrace.
PSLS writes: I have traveled across the country using the Razer Kishi Ultra in airports and hotels for both PlayStation Remote Play and mobile gaming in general, and I am thoroughly impressed.
Fallout 4 is now available on next-gen consoles, offering 60fps gameplay and 4K resolution. But it's bad news if you claimed the game on PS Plus.
Probably won't happen for PS+ since Sony makes a clear distinction between a PS4 game and a PS5 game, unlike PC and Xbox where it is not a specific device game (It's now always an Xbox game).
So to make the PS5 game of fallout 4 available. Bethesda would need to renegotiate the complete deal with Sony.
hence why there's often only the PS4 version of the game available on PS+.
Let's hope Bethesda and Sony can arrive to term quickly.
From Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, Sand Land is a fun adaptation of the manga and anime in videogame form. For all of its simplicity and repetition, it's a beautiful interpretation of the source material.
Microsoft needs to add more games and Sony has to add a year subscription for PS Now
None. PC is best if you want to play all last gen games in 4k/60fps.
What's unforgivable about PS Now currently is that currently there's still no annual subscription plan. If you want to renew the monthly subscription plan, you'll be paying $180 a year. Sony cannot honestly expect their service to be taken seriously at that price. It works well for what it does, but there seriously needs to be an annual model set in place.
But honestly a service like PS Now shouldn't be compared to a feature like backwards compatibility.
"At the moment, while the Playstation Now service does offer more games associated with its service via a Netflix-like experience, Microsoft’s more traditional approach to backwards compatibility isn’t asking you for a monthly fee or a rental charge to play the games you may already own. You can never go wrong with BC allowing users to simply put their older games into their new system and play."
PSnow is closer to an actual service and not more of a feature like BC. People should stop trying to compare the two. BC will always win in terms of offering what it's meant to do BC and usually free. PSnow is meant to be a service to allow you to play games on other platforms obviously atm that is limited because of testing/availability and Sony still have big investment in pushing hardware but in future their plan likely is offer a service when you play PS software on multiple platforms through a client. There is a reason for buying Gaikai for $380 million.
