With the remake approaching us in the future, what does Dom think about Final Fantasy VII and whether it deserves to be remade already? Find out his full thoughts in this new edition of VGU Talks.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.

Dumb question.
Do fans deserve a ff7 remake?
YES!
Yes. Next question please
Of course. It's a nearly 20 year old game that is loved by so many people. I can't wait for it!
Instead of new stories, new characters and new adventures the industry has succumbed to remakes, more sequels and less creativity. That's how creativity dies. With a thunderous applause. Even if the remake is possibly a good idea (which it isn't) do you really wish for Square-Enix to make it? Congratulations, that's exactly the industry you deserved.
