The Magic 2015 Garruk's Revenge expansion is far more than just an add on. Without even purchasing it, the update addresses one of the most complained about features by removing premium booster packs from the game. Owners of the core game ($9.99) will now be able to unlock the cards previously only obtainable from the premium booster packs by hopping into the multiplayer and earning "Battle Boosters."
From the review: "Magic 2015 is like taking 2 steps forward and one step back. While true deck building has finally been added, the loss of other modes that have become staples of the series diminishes its overall impact. This is still a solid offering for fans of the classic trading card game. This is about as close to Magic as you can get without actually dealing out the cards."

The Garruk's Revenge expansion was released for Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers last week. The new additions ended up doing wonders for the game by adding some strong, fun-to-play-with cards while also making it a lot easier to acquire some of the strongest cards in the game that you would've had to pay for previously.
The last game I bought I was disappointed as it didn't have a large selection of cards. Its good to see the game is still getting a good review either way
