Level-5 to announce PS4 game at E3 2015

Level-5 will announce a new PlayStation 4 title at E3 2015, company boss Akihiro Hino confirmed during a White Knight Chronicles II live stream this morning.

Ni No Kuni 2 may not happen since that was a collaboration with Studio Ghibli which as we speak is on a brake. After the main guy who made Howls moving castle, spirited away left the company.

I still don't understand why they wouldn't. The premise of the games alone has so much more potential than continuing WKC. There are various rumours pointing towards Ni No Kuni 2 (probably all from thuway lol), but I would take them with a pack of McDonald's fries. Though it is entirely possible and I wouldn't be mad.

How about making a - complete - game of substance on the level of WKC?

By that I mean delivering on the original premise of combat mechanics and something more than a horribly cliche and generic story? That if there's a customizable character who's going to be playable both online and the SP component, make them significant in the SP component. Not just an invisible 5rd wheel.

Oh well, it's not as bad as the Versus XIII wait time or getting excited for Rapture for years to find out it's FFXIV to find out it's horrible and takes another two years to re-release. Those waits are unbearable.

Anyway, my guts telling me if it not Ushiro or Dark Cloud 3 than the game is completely a new IP with style like White Knight Chronicles but will have bigger world (i took the president hint about him wants to exceeds the scale of WKC). But whatever it is, surely the game is on my radar!

With the way things are looking with Studio Ghibli its more likely to be ether a new IP, Dark Cloud 3 on a bigger scale than WKC or WKC3. If it is Dark Cloud I would love a reboot of Dark Cloud or Dark Cloud 3 that some of the main characters from Dark 1 in it and Max and the Girl from Dark Cloud 2 in it.
