Should I buy a PS4 or Xbox One?

adding to my own comment.... I think it would have been smart if MS added COD AW(sprinkled with some exclusive DLC)/ Halo MCC OR Sunset Overdrive/ COD AW or substitute COD for GTA in the mix to their bundle offerings.

If you are only interested in multiplats by the PS4. If you like the exclusives on PS3 buy a PS4, if you like x360 exclusive buy an x1.

No...not really! There are a lot more exclusive games coming out that have never been on the 360 or ps3. Mainly on the 360 side SO FAR. Sunset Overdrive, Ryse, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising 3(wasn't complete 360 exclusive) Quantum Break, The Order, Bloodborne...etc.

IMO you should get both systems, but as far as which one to get RIGHT NOW...TODAY...I would say xbox one, has the better offering at the moment.

But yeah I agree, I wish I could actually talk to people who loved games and not bicker over what machine is better. You know People who may not have PS4/XB1 but can still appreciate the games on the other console and have interesting discussions about them, Ahhh but I guess I'm just too optimistic sometimes.

Me personally I like both, but I'm waiting for more games(and the money) that appeal to me to release before I buy either of the new consoles, right now I'm still on PS3 and 360 catching up with games I missed, like the bioshock games for example.

I can agree with you. I like my PS4 and XB1 just the games don't wow me yet. I remember buying my 360 popping in Gears and going wow,I'm still waiting on my new consoles to do that.

Idk what you should buy. But I love my PS4! feels like a console for the Hardcore gamer.
So filled with creativity atm (it reminds me of the good old days of gaming on the PS1, when everything was fresh and new);
You won't regret the last of us if you haven't experienced it yet.
Now I'm enjoying LBP 3, I though I might hate it (I though it might be more of the same), but NO: it's a great fckng game: the best in the series.
Also, you get the feel that your favorite game will be the best version possible (1080p 60fps baby! bring all the grass you want Rockstar; I'm joking don't get mad at me!); everything is FAST and fluid (the installation times, the loading screens).
I don't share on YT or anything like that so I don´t care about that... But it works if you are into that sort of things (I tried with twtr)
For me the most amazing feature is Share play, omg!, I mean that sht just blew my mind!!! NEXT GEN!!! You got to experience it to understand what I'm talking about. I just hope more 3rd parties to allow the use of their games.
Not Perfect: I don't like Now, I like the idea, but for me still expensive for a rental, idk, besides I own most of the games on my ps3. Hey Sony, just let me play some of your old exclusives at a fair price!

I don't own an XBONE so... Idk. Yeah that's my two cents

I have them both. The last of us is amazing on the Ps4. The Playstation also has a more powerfull GPU. However I think the xbox one is a better deal with better games at the moment. If I was in the market for only one system I would get the xbox one.

If someone buys a high-end PC, I would recommend to go with WiiU for diversity. PS4 and XboxOne are still too limited on exclusives. May change next year.

Well Sony closed down another first party studio. Other than Uncharted and The Order (which is suspect) they don't really have a lot to offer game wise. I even heard that Uncharted 4 will be using a 5 year old engine because Sony doesn't have the funds to support it properly. While Xbox One is getting that DirectX12 update. It probably won't do much but, the fact that Microsoft is giving away all these updates is awesome.

I do think PS4 will have a lot more games than the Xbone but there are some avoidable double standards as the same rules that are applied to an xbone fan list should be applied to PS4 fan list, as for example when some guy call an xbox game like titanfall hardly exclusive because is also on PC or a remastered game. I don't consider these games exclusives by adhering to these rules:

No man sky is a timed exclusive
Eve Valkyrie will be on PC
Ratchet and Clank Remastered is a re-pasteurized game
Planetside 2 also as seen on PC
The Witness PC/IOS
H1Z1 PC
Grim Fandango re-pasteurized for a wide selection of platforms

*We know nothing of the unannounced
Media Molecule game
Santa Monica game
Guerilla game
Quantic Dream Game

Im sure you posted those 4 studios as reference to unannounced games but that is "atm" ambiguos at best, better have a balanced discussion with facts.

For short term get an Xbone.

For long term with emphasis on the word "long" get a PS4.

You have friends? -> Yes: Buy the console your friends bought and you play with.
No: Look the exclusive games now and upcoming, look at owned IPs and the back catalog

You have money? -> Buy both!

It's all about having fun and games. Either alone or with friends. You will be happy with any choice because you did it for a reason.
