Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Will Appear at PlayStation Experience; Will We See the First Gameplay?

Today Sony Computer Entertainment announced the first batch of games present at the PlayStation Experience, but interestingly Uncharted 4: a Thief’s End isn’t part of the list. Luckily, this apparently doesn’t mean that the game won’t be there at all.

It'll be my first Uncharted game as well. TLOU remastered is my favorite game of the year so far so I'm definately hyped for Uncharted 4 however I hope that they'll release an Uncharted collection for PS4 with the first three games before.

Yep, we'll probably see Uncharted gameplay at playstation experience. It's my most expected PS4 exclusive for 2015.

After Uncharted, I hope Naughty Dog makes a open world game, preferably a new IP.

While that would be cool, I would absolutely love a Last Of Us 2 personally. I just feel there could be so much more to it, maybe other character's stories, or I'd even be happy with a continuation.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an Uncharted 4 gameplay teaser followed by the announcement of a July Uncharted Trilogy remaster. At least that's my hope 😁.

I think you have some unrealistic expectations. ND did a long gameplay trailer for TLoU, but that was a new IP. Uncharted is a proven product which means they don't have to show much. And from my perspective, I think that's a good thing. I feel like they showed way too much of U3 which took away from the experience when I was finally able to play it. Of course, that's my fault for watching the videos. :P
I hope we do get to see raw gameplay instead of just a trailer, but whatever the case I'm expecting to be blown away by the fidelity of ND's first game built from the ground up with PS4 in mind.

Edit: Seems some people are mad about U4, as just about every comment is getting disagrees, regardless of content.

God I hope Drake takes Elena with him for his next adventure and she's with him from the start. I want her to get her badass attitude back and she demands to go with him...or she follows him like she did in Drakes Fortune. Would be awesome if he did that and she punches him again making a reference to the first game.

For a lot of us, that will come in the form of Bloodborne. Also, ND hasn't made a bad game in a very long time. Sure, U3 wasn't as good as U2 in the eyes of most, but it was still a very good game hampered by some pacing issues and an odd problem with weapon handling. The good news is that both of those issues seem to have been rectified in TLoU. U4 should be great!

It is, but Uncharted is a hell of a franchise and Naughty Dog is a hell of a developer with a couple goty titles under their belt. Not too shabby, eh?? Plus dat sales lead is substantial...and Sony has plenty of killer exclusives to entice gamers in 2015 so even more gamers will be hopping on board the ps4 train.

PS4 is the dominant console this gen though. According to VG Chartz (Yeah, I know) Halo 4 sold 9.13 million while U3 did 6.5 million. With the PS4 likely continuing to build a gap worldwide, it isn't inconceivable that U4 could outsell Halo 5. If PS4 has anywhere near a 2:1 lead worldwide, it's actually very likely. It's also quite likely that Sony will, in fact, have a lead that massive going into holiday 2015.
However, if you're talking about North America, then I'd still put my money on Halo.

Ps games never sell as much as halos because ps has more diversity, more games to choose from, if ps had only the same 3 milked franchises would sell 10 mil as well;)

only 1 halo game has crossed 10m and that was Halo 3. The only 10m selling franchises are Mario, Pokemon, and Gran Turismo with multiple entries and the tendency being 10m or close to.

Halo sells around 10 million to an install base of 80, that's around 1 in 8 sales…IF Xbox sees a huge sales boost from now until release, assume there's 20 million consoles in homes (which would be a very big leap). Maybe Halo sells 5 million, also a skewed estimate in MS' favor considering that that would have an attach rate to consoles over double of what all the prior Halo titles had, which doesn't account for the slip in sales that Halo 4 took.

The PS4 could have 30-40 million units sold by then comparatively, and that would mean that 5 million copies of Uncharted sold would be equal in sales w/ Halo at around half of the attach rate of Halo. Look at your number of Uncharted games sold there. Combine the two projections, that means that if Uncharted 4 is half as successful for Sony as Halo is for Microsoft, then sales would still be equal. That's looking at the worst case scenario for Sony & the best case scenario for Microsoft, being generous on how many consoles they would have sold by then & not accounting for general genre fatigue that has set in for the Halo series sales-wise game over game, and it's equal.

Common sense pretty much dictates that all of those people who bought PS4 are "dying for games" as many fanboys & games journalists would have you believe, and here comes Sony's biggest franchise bar none…does anyone actually believe that the Uncharted of PS4 will have the attach rate of what it did for PS3? Look at Halo, the first game on the OG Xbox was huge, but the sequels on 360 were massive…so it stands to reason that all of those new adopters that didn't have a PS3 will be looking to see what all the fuss is about, just like what happened with Halo, the most likely outcome is Uncharted doubling its attach rate from last gen, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion at this point, even w/o any footage from the game or any substantial trailers or marketing. Looks to me that even in the best case scenario for MS & worst case scenario for Sony, those sales flip to UC4 at 10 mil, Halo 5 at 5 mil.

The US isn't the world though, and Sony now has a much bigger market to rely on. Halo 5 will outsell U4 in the US, but worldwide sales are another issue entirely, especially if hardware sales trends continue.

Whether uncharted 4 outsells Halo 5 or not it doesn't bother me IMO its a better game overall that's why it's won countless GOTY awards Halo can sell a lot more but UC will be the better game TO ME because of NAUGHTYGODS. I also really can't wait to see how Elena and Chloe look.
