IM PLAYIN discusses whether it's worth playing Destiny past level 20.
"We’re now 6 weeks post launch. And I’m still playing it almost every day. I check the app quite often as well, just to see how much, if at all, my friends have progressed. I sit at work and picture what tasks for Destiny I’ll be doing that night – farming resources for upgrading a piece of gear to get that little bit of extra light to try and reach the next level? Farming heroics and strike playlists to try and upgrade a piece of gear? Try the strike on the next difficulty up? Help my friends to try and get to the Vault of Glass? All acceptable answers."
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
according to Millions, yeah.
my brother doesn't even want to buy anything else for "a long time". which sucks for me cuz i need constant change. but yeah, its definitely a great game. Those review scores where a joke. I've officially joined the people who distrust review scores. I don't even read the review articles anymore. literally.
If it doesn't, I have made a HUGE MISTAKE.
It's alright... Post 20 content is repetitive and not really as "big" as they made it appear. The game world doesn't really open up post 20, the missions are the same (dailies), the strikes are the same, and the raid is fun the first time around.
i thought the game got better after 20, more gear, better levels ect
destiny is f****** garbage it doesn't warrant plan after level 10
