Microsoft gave away a free game last month around the time of Destiny's launch, and it seems like that strategy paid off.
"The Bristol-based (the UK) indie games publisher Auroch Digital and indie games developer Positech Games, today announced with great happiness and thrill that their hit-political title "Democracy 4: Console Edition", is coming to consoles (PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) via digital stores on June 5th, 2024." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
PSLS writes: I have traveled across the country using the Razer Kishi Ultra in airports and hotels for both PlayStation Remote Play and mobile gaming in general, and I am thoroughly impressed.
Fallout 4 is now available on next-gen consoles, offering 60fps gameplay and 4K resolution. But it's bad news if you claimed the game on PS Plus.
Probably won't happen for PS+ since Sony makes a clear distinction between a PS4 game and a PS5 game, unlike PC and Xbox where it is not a specific device game (It's now always an Xbox game).
So to make the PS5 game of fallout 4 available. Bethesda would need to renegotiate the complete deal with Sony.
hence why there's often only the PS4 version of the game available on PS+.
Let's hope Bethesda and Sony can arrive to term quickly.
This article is funny. They tell you that $35 is a good deal for this game...We know whose side they are on.
People like free games with new consoles.
"according to Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter."
moving on nothing to see here.
if its true that would be a huge win for ms in a month where sony had destiny launching . maybe all the nfl advertising is paying off for ms .
I think his guess is literally because there was like a difference of less than 10k consoles sold between the two. You could swing it either way who was +/- though.
But, I'd still bank on ps4 being on the +. But Microsoft had chinas boost, bringing it up to ps4's range, along with forza etc. Basically, VGcharts say ps4, this guy says Xbox.... take your pic...
But last month.... no way is he right. Not without China's figures, not during destiny release period, not even during FIFA's period, FIFA destroyed Xbox with its ps4 figures.
“I kind of think that free Destiny [on Xbox One] was better than [paying] for Destiny on PS4,” Pacther told GamesBeat. He also noted the appeal of the Madden bundle. “That’s pretty compelling.”
I don't know if Pacther is serious anymore if he thinks PS4 will lose by about 75k units in Destiny month. And loool at the Madden bundle being compelling it's like he missed last month's results(Which he was off by). PS4 outsold the XB1 and PS4 madden outsold it software wise even if you included XB1 madden bundle sales.
There is very little chance that the one week promo was enough to beat PS4 for the month. Amazon that has always been right with hardware sales monthly puts the PS4 easily ahead.
Sometimes I wonder how this guy has a job.
