Horizon is Guerrilla's new PS4 game

The code name is horizon, which is a new PS4 title from Guerrilla. These information has been revealed by a Chinese video game site called A9VG, and more is coming, according to the person who post it.

Killzone 1 and Shadow Fall were really bad games in my opinion. Killzone 2 & 3 were fantastic, though. I really hope that their next game recaptures some of the magic they had.

Killzone 2 had one of the best multiplayers of the last generation GG has allot of talent, in the story department not so much but hey the writer of the story for this IP is the falloutNV writer so there's hope for the story and if you don't think that a open world RPG with robot dinosoyrs doesn't sound cool as hell then we can't be friends. I'm just so happy GG is trying something new.

Bought an XB1 for now. Loving it, but this is just another awesome Sony Exclusive I'll get to play when I eventually get a PS4 like 2-3 years from now.

There is a devise called CronusMax, by using it you can play with the DS4 controller on the xb1 and vice versa

The reason for that is because you said you were skipping 2 to 3 generations of PS consoles and games just because of 1 controller type.

Not much of a fair comparison, really. Guerrilla's Killzone games aren't my cup of tea either, but this is a very different genre. If you ask me, they never really found their specialty genre yet and this might work out very well for them. I'll be watching this game for more info.

I'm thinking an evolve type game , from what I've read it is going to have hi tech motion capture and that includes the animals that run around the environment also! Imagine a beautifully animated tiger jumping out of a stunning looking forest or grass to your right or left then suddenly a robotic dinosaur(Turok esq but with CGI like graphics and animation) smashes from trees in clearing ahead , birds scattering from trees, the tiger pounces and you deftly jump upon it's back ,wrestling the beast away from dinosaur you jump off the back when away from dinobot , take out your sword and take it's head off , you quickly turn and see the dino bot almost upon you , suddenly a friend runs in and let's off a cannon in side of dino bots head...the rest is up to you!

I feel that the mech's in Killzone 3 could have been a great mech stand alone title! GG does have a knack for the mechanical! Killzone SF'S droids and airsupport drones are amazing too! Can't forget the details in the remote turrets also, best in any game ive seen.

The concept art on the dinobots, if I dare call them by that name, look awesome but the appearance of the human characters make them seem out of place. It seems like this game might have to deal with some kind of time travel since the warriors battling them are wearing a mix of old and futuristic gear. Small note, the warriors are wearing very little futuristic items.

Here's how the hate for Kz goes. ppl buy the game thinking its the type of Fps anyone can just jump into but they don't realize Kz takes skill if your aim is trash then how do you expect to be good at Kz?? Unlike other games the weighty feel of your character makes it unique so you can't just float around like you do in Destiny, Halo or other floaty Fps games and I'm gonna say it right now as much as ppl hate KZSF the MP takes more skill than any fps out right now on the Ps4 and XB1.

Indeed very true. KZSF's MP is of the hardest to master among all fps games. There is no aim assist at all. I am still rubbish at it, but still playing it. Assuming there is also an MP in Horizon, I really hope it is as challenging.
