The Crew offers more than Forza Horizon and Driveclub, says dev

You probably aren't even thinking about Forza are you?? It's ok, I can tell by the name.

I think The Crew is the best looking racer coming out, Literally the best looking? no, but i am not a four year old. Shiny shiny graphics aren't the only reason to buy a game. Since when were simulators more fun than arcade racers? Need For Speed Rivals has been the best Racing game since Burnout Paradise (THE best racer of last Gen) and i am still having fun due to it's casual side to racing (Even with the ridiculous, over the top, ham acted, melodramatic storyline.

All that Driveclub and Forza have going for themselves is Graphics ad Phsyics, they achieve that by removing the fun, replayable aspects of each game.

The Crew's graphical limitations are understandable too due to the sheer size of the map. I cannot wait for the Crew and i wish more people would say "to hell with that, let's have fun" into mind other than thinking of the graphics of a game, we wouldn't have so many 'Destinys' then.

Wooow, you must be joking. The only thing I kind of agree with you in that statement is that Burnout Pardise is the best racing game of last-gen, though I loooove Motorstorm.

i appreciate your opinion but i honestly think forza horzions will be a better game than the crew for many reasons. better physics, better car models. tuning, graphics, dev team etc. don't get me wrong, i'm sure the crew will be fun but i bet it gets solid 7's with reviews. horizons will probably be around 8.5 average i bet. maybe i'll be wrong but thats the way i see it.

Forza Horizon 2 is the only Driving game pretty much Guaranteed to be at least pretty darn good.

The others are unknown a bit, but look promising.

Forza has a GREAT track record, so I'm thinking H2 will continue that good reputation.

Not every state, the map also suffers from the same flaw as its Ubi brother Watch Dogs, lifeless worlds.

Look at last gens GTA V, with nearly nothing they (Rockstar) created one of the best (if not the best) open worlds to date. Including WD.

It does offer better customization and a massive map but the game has some major issues.

Handling is awkward, servers keep dropping(you will be driving within 50 yards of somebody then everyone magically disappears, free roam cops are weak, stupid and are only crown vics while the cops and gang members in missions are insanely aggressive n fast (they drive over 200 mph in these random sedans n catch up to me while im in a race car) but they at least come in a variety of cars n trucks. The biggest issue for me was the civilians. They would constantly make u turns or change lanes right in front of you when you're driving 150+ mph. I did 3 major cross country drives. (NYC to the Flordia Keys, Florida Keys to LA, LA to Seattle) and the AI must have crashed into me at least 20 times.

How am I supposed to enjoy cross country trips if I have to worry about the AI making u turns on highways? I was in both pc betas n I was a very disappointed. I hope they add 1 more beta n fix most of these issues before the November release.

I disagree, in my opinion it is the weakest of the bunch the idea is still perfect but the driving, the physics, the sense of speed it has almost none of those. I Dont expect it to run well on my decent PC

Damn julian! i like you and i'm excited to play the game, but offer more than driveclub and forza? that sound soooooooo cocky! IMO i think all 3 games has something great to offer, depends on a gamers taste.
I don't own a xbox one, but forza horizon 2 looking good with the things to do in it, so if you a forza fan, you won't be disappointed. Since i own a PS4,
i'm very excited to play driveclub! yeah it don't have open world, but i would careless about it because i'm a fan of both open world and closed circuit racers,
so i'm thrilled to play it. The crew, can't wait to try the beta! it'll make my decision if i want to buy it because i had fun with it, or don't because it's not what thought it would be and just stick with driveclub. Stay classy julian, stop being ignorant.

The demo is downloadable today so you will get your first taste of it lol. If you have a 360 I highly recommend the first one as well as Forza 5 for XB1.

Well, on the title and content, if all of what they're saying is true, then yeah The Crew probably offers more in terms of content.

As long as the game is actually gigantically open world and the gameplay is enjoyable, they may get a buyer from me.

Played the beta and I though it was good. Can explore for hours in this huge playground of a map. Graphics don't look terrible as everyone is saying here, but I agree it doesn't look better than Driveclub/Horizon. There is also a lot of customization in The Crew. Also the cars are way overpriced and missions give so little. I'm afraid The Crew might just become boring after exploring the map.
