Destiny has already been hacked, with modders being able to provide themselves with infinite ammo for any weapon in the game - including rocket launchers and other heavy weapons.
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
Only on 360 version as that consoles got custom firmware etc to allow this sort of thing. You cant go online with ps3 exploit as far as im aware and you certainly cannot hack current gen. So avoid hackers by going xbox one and ps4. But it just shows how secure your gaming is on 360. They all go on about PSN not being secure but this is actual game destroying hacking. Imagine this on PVP maps?? This is not the networks fault this is the actual console that's exploited here.
I just dont get this. Where is the fun/reward in cheating at a video game? Why even play it if you're going to do this?
This is what bothers me about 'always online' titles.
Yeah , i hope they ban the hackers !
I knew a person who had a chipped x box 360 and he never bought a 360 game ever. He told me you could never play multiplayer due to the risks of getting caught.
This is likely just single player and not effecting anyone but you.
Ghost@ Its been years since i spoke to that guy, but he told me he stays offline because its easier to not get tracked by Microsoft and you get noticed more if you cheat. If they catch you they can ban the id of your console. Not sure how it works for Destiny playing by yourself.
