Dual Shockers: We just learned that Xbox One sold 23,562 units during its first week on the shelves in Japan according to the reliable data announced by Famitsu and its publisher Enterbrain. But how does that compare with its predecessors, and with other home consoles? Pretty badly.
VGChartz's Evan Norris: "If you haven't played Rainbow Cotton before, you're not alone. A Dreamcast exclusive released only in Japan, it's not exactly a household name. Looking to change that, and bring the sixth-gen game back into the spotlight, is German studio KRITZELKRATZ 3000, which — with the backing of publisher ININ and original developer SUCCESS — has remade the 3D shoot-'em-up from the ground up. Featuring several modern quality-of-life upgrades, plus HD graphics and a brand new local co-op mode, it promises to merge the past and present when it launches digitally on consoles and PC on May 9.
Ahead of the game's release, I chatted with Andreas Scholl, technical director at KRITZELKRATZ 3000 and lead programmer for Rainbow Cotton, about what fans can expect from the remake."
It's fun to be a kid again.

This is bad.....
That's less than the sales of software...
Well, maybe there's a market somewhere that will convince people to buy the Xbox One to watch television on a television?
Even more embarrassing than Xbox One's monthly NPD results I smell alot of moneyhats coming from Crapcom/SquarEnix M$ is a lost cause in the console market this generation.
it should not come across as a shock to anyone, MS please see this and leave Japan alone there is literally no point.
Well done Ms for giving me some news that is not destiny related .
