Great news. Pornography will be a major drive for VR technology. This isn't a bad thing or a good one, there is a demand that needs to be filled. I am sure people will bring up morality issues eventually, but one person morality shouldn't be imposed on another adult engaged in legal actions. Note that I said "legal" actions. I look forward to seeing what other cool experiences companies will bring to VR technology.

Prime1573514d ago

This was bound to happen, and it's also late news. Pretty sure I remember OR and some orifice device last year...

OR could get a lot of revenue and a lot of publicity (regardless of negative publicity or positive... There "is no such thing as negative publicity").

Man_Marmalade3515d ago

Now I understand why N4G is the hottest game news site.

TheOtherVitaOwner3515d ago

Is this news though? I mean, it's Japan, I'd be worried if they weren't making VR porn games

Bhuahahaha3515d ago

like they say "the fappening is coming"

sikandar2013515d ago

Haha... But even if porno game comes out they will be Censored... :D

FarEastOrient3515d ago

Hmmm... You must not play or seen a lot of Japanese games

starchild3515d ago

Leave it to the Japanese. :) Haha, well, actually there have already been erotic games made by European and American developers.

Gore-Content3515d ago

Yes. We can do great things with this piece of technology.

ltachiUchiha3515d ago

Not without an underwear sensation gaming pad lol. I should get paid for awesome ideas haha.

VJGenova3515d ago (Edited 3515d ago )

They already make interactive vaginas where some webcam model controls how the vagina, or mouth, interacts with the user's penis. I'm sure they're already developing something like that ...

ltachiUchiha3515d ago

Lol dude I was kidding but u know alot about this stuff, u should go try an get a job der.

RedDevils3514d ago

lol I can't believe people actually know so much these stuff hahaha

Project Morpheus - Summer Lessons is destroying this in terms of quality, Morpheus is better than Oculus, people listen! don't support Oculus, that facebook sellout!!

caseh3515d ago

Ahh but Oculus will be open to modding and all sorts. Sony's offering will be limited to what they let you use it for.

KYPRIME3515d ago

who cares, it's facebook, Oculus it's over from the moment when facebook bought them, samsung vr is with facebook and oculus too, the only one remaining is Morpheus, take the RED PILL SON!!!

cleft53515d ago

I will agree with you that Morpheus looks like it will be better technology initially. But Oculus Rift has John Carmack behind it, also I doubt we will see any pornographic experiences on Morpheus if it doesn't work with PC right off. While I do love what Sony is doing, please understand that Sony is a corporation just like Facebook.

KYPRIME3515d ago

yeah, but i'm a gamer, Sony has Playstation the best gaming brand, Facebook has... retards... and bitches... so yeah i'm going with sony on this

starchild3515d ago

Morpheus will be limited by the need for a low price point and by the PS4 hardware itself. I'll be getting one, but I understand the limitations.

The premier VR experience will definitely be found on the Oculus Rift powered by a high end PC. There's no doubt about this.

tee_bag2423514d ago (Edited 3514d ago )

I'm not sold on Morpheus. VR needs double the frame rate and I don't see PS4 doubling their average frame rate. So they are going to be left with halving 60fps at best which will less to montion sickness or be stuck playing Minecraft. Even Occulus is having trouble dealing with motion sickness at far higher frame rates.

Just make a crossover with Octodad and we may be on to something - Ps4 sales through the roof

stuna13515d ago

6 hands would definitely be better than 2 in this case.

That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.

Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.

But it's EA. They don't think.

Babadook7343d ago

I agree. It would sell better on PSVR2 right now.

Knushwood Butt343d ago (Edited 343d ago )

A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?

Abnor_Mal343d ago

Not into F1 racing, but still a missed opportunity.

ApocalypseShadow343d ago

That's where opportunity presents itself that they could offer something else that other developers haven't offered yet. Yeah. There's No Man's Sky. But a space game with a story would be great. Like the old days with Colony Wars.

Abnor_Mal343d ago

Exactly, they could have possibly lured more players just from the inclusion of a vr mode.

I miss Colony wars and G-Police, Low-Fi I hope will scratch that itch when it releases. We also need a vr War/Starhawk game.

Knushwood Butt343d ago

Just watched the trailer of Low-Fi. Most definitely on my radar.

Although I never owned an oculus, I played the demo for this at an electronics store. Pretty impressive in an early goings of VR title.
