There was no new information on Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End at Gamescom, but Naughty Dog hasn’t been completely silent, and they provided quite a lot of insight on their past and future in a lovely interview featuring Game Director Neil Druckmann and Lead Programmer Jason Gregory.
Speaking on what’s coming next for Naughty Dog, which could be either their new IP or The Last Of Us Part III, Druckmann gave what he seems to feel are realities of the project he’s talking about. That it’ll both be “really ambitious” but also “really hard.”

"I’ve really surrendered to knowing it’s going to be really hard, knowing it’s going to stress members of the team out"
As if crunch wasn't stressing them enough
That it’ll both be “really ambitious” but also “really hard.”
Not 'is' but 'will be', kinda suggests that they haven't started yet, hope not.
Come on ND, a game PLEAAAAASSSSEEEE. Desperate this gen.
Also, just off-topic slightly but..
Does anyone think that layoffs now may well be making space for AI integration of game development, and 'crunch-time', 'unsustainable', 'big budget' are all terms been used to butter us up to receiving the news that AI integration will help and maintain the level of AAA games that were accustomed to? Perhaps the layoffs were the devs that didn't join a union quick enough and if only they had the smarts of SAG members and strike while the time is right, before its too late?! Imagine DEV's on strike at a time like this, there's already a game drought.
A stunning Uncharted Unreal Engine 5 imagining has been released, featuring cutscenes, platforming, combat, stealth, and vehicles.
Created by Daniel Arriaga, a level designer at MachineGames on the upcoming Indiana Jones game, this fan concept is a solo developer project.
This Valentine's Day got me thinking of some of my favorite video game couples. Specifically, Nate and Elena from the Uncharted Series.
Good article. It is interesting to find out about how ND works and how the staff move from project to project.
If any1 can unlock the true powers of Ps4, its ND. One of the best existing today
I cannot live without Naughty Dog. I found them completely by accident while getting Uncharted. Then my brother got me Uncharted 2 which i proceeded to put 2 weeks of pure gameplay into the amazing and extremely balanced online as well as beating the game on every difficulty. Then I had to get Uncharted 3 of course, which was, what some say a step down. I enjoyed the story, but the online was not nearly as balanced as Uncharted 2s and so it threw me off. When TLOU came and started getting 10/10 from nearly every site I picked it up and was extremely happy to. It really was a masterpiece. When announcing Uncharted 4 I had what some call a nerd orgasm. I am so excited for the game! Since all of this has happened I am willing to follow Naughty Dog to the end of the earth and back.
I know this sounds cheesy but Naughty Dog is one of the reasons I'm think of myself as a gamer.

Holy crap how did i forget about Jak and Crash. I played all 3 Jaks and loved them but never got a chance to play Crash.
The article stated that Naughty Dog is working on Uncharted 4 and their next big project which is in very early development. If it's not The Last of Us 2, then my guess is they will work on this after Uncharted 4. It seems customary now for teams to work on at least 2 projects at a time.
All I want from Naughty Dog is Savage Starlight....is that too much to ask? Give me sci fi...please.
