NowGamer: "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's latest trailer looks worryingly like Titanfall. Is this a sign that Call of Duty is now following rather than leading?"
Former director at Activision, Bret Robbins, revealed that Advanced Warfare 2 had a working prototype, but it was eventually shelved for COD WWII.
That is a shame. AW is my favourite CoD. I hope they do a sequel one day.
I still prefer CoD based on historical settings or in near future settings(like CoD: Ghost) ... even though I liked infinite Warfare's campaign ... it was top notch
Game Rant Writes "With rumors swirling about a sequel to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer Games can bring back a few weapons for a modern encore."
Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
These claims that it looks like Titanfall make ZERO sense. Just because it has a double jump doesnt mean it looks like titanfall.
Get a grip people.
Yeah did not do anything for me sure it looked nice though , jet pack gen incoming lol.
It looked like fun but did look like a lot of other games happening recently. Of course I have always said that FPS games will always feel similar to some degree because they are all FPS games. Little changes here amd there, story, and character development are what set them apart. Yes this seems a bit like Titanfall but still looks just like a COD game. Even the way the characters looked screamed all COD games. It may be that FPS games have really tried everything new and all we can do is experience a new story every time a new one is released. In the end it is still a game where we shoot people in the first person. As graphics, textures, resolution, and frames get better and better these games will seem better and better. Halo had the super high jumping long before Titanfall or COD thought about doing it and yet no one saw Titanfall and said it was similar to Halo. So we will see what this game brings but in the end it is a FPS game and will never be anything other than a game you shoot people in. These games are not known for their intense problem solving.
Personally, I believe call of duty stopped leading post modern warfare 2. Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4, and modern warfare 2 were really, really great. Afterwards, it's been solid, but nothing groundbreaking.
That's just my opinion though.
