Push Square: "El Chavo Kart is a fun fantasy racer that really excels when you’re sat with friends on the sofa. The game’s clearly been massively inspired by Nintendo’s moustachioed mascot’s racing games, but the execution is a furlong ahead of fellow copy cats. It’s just a shame that the release is missing out on key components, such as online multiplayer and leaderboards, as this could have been a real surprise package with the aforementioned features in place."
The Nerd Stash: “When you finally get your hands on the rarest Xbox 360 games, you'll know. Rare 360 games might not be what you think they are.”
cool, 5 sports games, and unless I'm missing something the list isn't even 10 long. 8 out of the 9 games are $100 or less, hardly an arm and a leg while only one game, the pulled release of NBA Elite 11 by EA is listed as $20k. Other titles included are Armored Core For Answer, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Spiderman Shattered Dimensions, and El Chavo cart round out the list of 9, not 10.
Based on the banner I thought this was implying 50 Cent Blood on the Sand was some kind of gaming treasure. I was looking forward to the excuse on that one, but none found. booo.
El Chavo Kart was the inside joke when I ran a game store, it's price is crazy for what it is 🤣 but I sold every copy we would get in simply by ragging on our regulars/collectors for not being "real collectors" until they had a copy of El Chavo Kart!
Lol imagine paying like 200$ off a site for a "rare" Xbox 360 game when you can go on mercari app n get it for like 20 bucks or less lmao
GamesAsylum: "Mario Kart has a lot of answer for, and we aren’t talking about how Toad manages to reach the pedals. Nope – we’re talking about how Mario Kart’s immense popularity has spawned numerous soulless clones over the years.
Many of these lifeless imitators were released not during the 16-bit heyday but rather the turn of the millennium. Arguably, this can be attributed not just the success of system-seller Mario Kart 64 but also the PSone’s Crash Team Racing. The PSone was also starting to appear to a far younger age group at the time – a perfect target for licensed trash.
With Mario Kart 8 just weeks away, we’ve rounded-up an assortment of kart racers that have faded into obscurity."
Anybody, of any age, who grew up in a Latin household knows who El Chavo is.
Nice to see they actually put some effort into this game.
