Destiny - The game everyone should experience

MWEB GameZone writes:"By now, many gamers will have played the Destiny Beta last weekend. I got a chance to play the game on a PlayStation 4 at 1080p resolution. Having played previous Halo 3 co-operatively, I knew roughly what to expect from a Bungee game. Of course, expectations can be denied or exceeded. In this case Destiny left a great impression. While not an innovator in anyway, it takes the best elements of massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG's) like World of Warcraft, co-operative first person shooters like Halo and open world explorers such as Fallout and combines them into a solid online-only experience."

Honestly such an awesome game! Been playing the Beta and loving it and I don't ever play consoles ;o

Yes I agree. Not innovative, just really well executed.

die_fiend3557d ago

The way the multiplayer works is pretty innovative. I've never palyed a game where I can bowl around with friends then seamlessly come together with other posse's to batter a devil walker!

Well said my friend, well said.

Im certain this game will be huge, probably game of the year, gonna receive lots of awards and high scores (hopefully), but Im just not into online FPS games, so no matter how great it turns out, I wont be touching it.
But Im glad consoles are getting this great system seller this September. Good work, Bungie.

Heard nothing but good stuff about this game...

danowat3557d ago

It's very very slick, that's for sure, the gameplay feels nice, but I just have this nagging feeling that we've seen it, and done it, all before, there isn't a single innovative feature (that I've seen yet).

It's just a borderlands / Halo mashup, not that that's a bad thing.

I am sure it'll sell by the truckload and people will have many hours of fun with it, I just wish for a little innovation.

plut0nash3557d ago

Common complaint really. Bungie's a good company though.

Mikelarry3557d ago

never been into the mmo genre as it always seemed so complicated but destiny has changed my attitude toward this genre.

Hanso3557d ago

yeah same for me.
Before playing the Beta i was one of those who said ill never support online only games but playing the beta was a mistake ..lol

Still im gonna wait a year before buying Destiny i expect huge amounts of dlc. Even before its released there are already 2 costly expansions...

mrmonk3557d ago

Does,any1 no if i preordered the game do i get the vanguard armour or is that just for special edition?

plut0nash3557d ago

Not here in South Africa, it's at least $20 more for special content. Prefer not to pre-order because of that.

plut0nash3557d ago

That's why I don't like pre-order content. It's just not worth the money for an advantage to be given to those who pay more.

Rob_Ko3557d ago

but it doesn't cost you more (at least here in Europe). Why not pre-order a game you want and get speciall goodies, instead if going to shop buy same thing, for same ammount of money and don't get anything? Pre-orders rock man.

Phene3557d ago

No worries mate, the vanguard armor pre-order bonus is just *early access* to content you will inevitably receive at some point regardless of when and from who you purchase the game. But like with most pre-order content especially in a game like this. Chances are you'll surpass these weapons/armor very quickly and move onto something even more special.
