PS4 1.75 Update Coming Next Week

Sony Computer Entertainment America just announced on Twitter that 1.75 update is coming next week bringing 3D blu ray.

By one step ahead do you mean still lacking some very basic features like changing background, folders, decent filters, certain media capabilities? This isn't even mentioning suspend/resume which was touted as a key feature before release then completely ignored, whilst the X1 and even the Vita have it.

30 steps behind is more like it, how stupid do you have to be wear a companies heart on your sleeve? I love me some playstation but this guy is 100% on the money. SONY sold a bare-bones machine and the updates aren't coming in fast enough. They keep testing my patience and I'm sorry I don't pay money to wait 1 year for basic features to appear on a machine that is touted as "next generation". This generations gamers are a on a whole new level of stupid. SONY is a company like any other and its actions need to be called into question when consumers can't even play their own music on a $400 device, my iPad does it, vita does it, PS3 did it so why not PS4? Bloody credit card babies just swiping your money and mouths away in the name of a corporation like its some kind of deity.

It's just blind fanboyism. I prefer the Sony consoles myself but being ignorant of their obvious shortcomings is stupid. The OS is not the PS4's strong point at the moment, I don't see how you can argue against that.

So they just pushed out an update and now they're pushing out another one with yet another feature most people don't even care about. They should delay it and add features that most people actually want before sending out another update.

They should of been on the ps4 day one. No excuse. What is taking so long I just don't understand anymore

You do realize that the Xbox is mostly getting features that the PS4 already has right? They have a few good updates but they're more so leveling the playing field with the Xbox updates...

You mean like, seeing how much HD space is left, or how much battery is left in the controller. Sony can't add features they already had.Microsoft have been updating more because they had more to update.
To much moaning going on, I wouldn't mind but half these people probably won't use these features once Sony patches them. Gamers do tend to moan alot I've noticed.

I definitely have to agree with that. It worked perfectly when I first got my PS4 about a month ago, now its very sporadic when it works.

I had a really funny glitch in Infamous 2 a couple of weeks ago (performed a comet drop from ontop of a building, someone hit me as I was landing and it knocked me miles off the map!), pressed share and instead of bringing up the menu and recording the last 15mins like it should it brought up the menu and had recorded nothing....great...

It can be easily remedied by us (just make sure you bring up the share menu as you start the game and it records the 15mins like it should) but it still needs to be fixed!

Ffs someone askt for mp3 support wtf?.just now adding 3d support.that should have been on the fuckon machine already.these updates are just another way to make you think ur getin something,although some are needed,but this shite now,just now updating with 3d support.sony prob wanted us to keep using ps3 lol.if i didnt have the phat ps3 id still be using it,but its electricity hungary ffs.

How can they justify that the PS3, with its quirky os and architecture has features that the easier, beefier, simpler PS4 doesnt?

there is no excuse. You cant tell me that they couldnt scramble a group of sw engineers to make this in time for release, its not like the Os was finalized days prior to release.

I think its healthy to acknowledge problems when they exist, otherwise we are just as formatted as xbots (were and are) about the "cloudz" and all the "secret juices" their box is supposed to have.

Yeah, disagree all you want, but deep down i know all ps4 users miss these features and sony hasnt come up a with an excuse for all this.
