Yesterday night Bungie opened the beta for the Xbox versions of Destiny, finally allowing Microsoft fans to join their PlayStation brothers in the defense of the last city on Earth. This also allows the comparison of the PS4 and Xbox One versions to see how they stack against each other.
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
Is this a fair representation of how the XB1 really looks? I'm not knocking you Abriael but I was certain MS released a patch to get rid of those crushed blacks. Does it really look that dark on the TV?
Look at these:

The crushed blacks bury the detail on the XB1 version ... according to these screenshots anyway.
Well, it seems it is crushed black issue on Xbone. We will see DF comparison soon.
If problem appear on DF comparison, that is a problem.
Hmmm it is almost like looking at 2 versions of the same game. Except one version looks good and the other version (that is not on my console of choice) looks totally horrible and unplayable.
The difference is Destiny was meant to be play on the PS4 even down to the controller. It cross gen for maximum profit and if it make it to 1080p its on due to a by product of that and Xbox One chopping off an arm (Kinect) in order for it to make it up to standard. But if you really look at this game, then look at say Infamous, its not pushing PS4 to the limit.
Try changing the display output to pc on the xbox. Most new tvs will support it and i was surprised what a difference it made.
