Destiny Beta Feedback: Are you Hunter, Titan or Warlock and Why?

Destiny Beta has been an absolute blast over the weekend, with millions of gamers clamoring for beta codes to get a sneak peak at the out of this world adventure. Maya Mayfield from PS4.sx has chosen the well rounded strategic Titan as her favorite warrior and would like to know who is your choice on the battlefield.

Agreed, Titan is a beast PvP games. I did horrible with the Warlock, but wrecked s*** with the Titan.

I have a level 8 titan but I don't use it because I find that ability is overpowered, especially in the crucible.

The way most of the flags are located you have almost no time to react when a titan comes charging in and smashes your whole team. And the area is so small they can almost never miss.

I chose Warlock... I've spent the majority of my time on the Cosmodrone in explore doing the missions over and over..

I just reached Vanguard Reception 2 and bought a rare emblem from the Warlock Vanguard..

I've also been buying all the rare emblems I've seen from the emblem lady on the left side of the tower..

I also bought a Legendary Warlock Bond from the Warlock Vanguard even though I can't wear it until level 20.. I also bought one from the Dead Orbit guy... and I also WON a Legendary Hand Cannon in one of the matches!!!!

I played the Iron Banner event also.. I got the Legendary Emblem and the Legendary Warlock Bond from that guy... The only Legendary stuff that is equippable so far..

My Cyrptarch rank is level 3.. and I got someting from the postmaster when that unlocked..

Sucks it is down for 2 days. But, something tells me they will let us go to level 10 when it comes back on...

I currently have 58 Vanguard Marks and 29 Crucible Marks.. However I spent 30 Vanguard Marks on one of those Legendary Warlock Bonds.. I've had 88 VM's in total.

I got one of those pretty early on, what I can't seem to find is an uncommon scout rifle. In the alpha a got a great one almost right away and used it far more than any other weapon. I keep getting uncommon heavy weapons, which I rarely ever use.

How'd you get so much Vanguard points? I've been turning in Spinmetal as often as I can, do every event that I find, and do side quests all the time and I'm still just short of getting level 1 Vanguard (I think I need about another 140 points).

I was a Hunter in the Alpha and a Warlock in the PS4 Beta. I'll try a Titan in the XB1 Beta when that starts this week. That will help me decide what I want to be in the real game.

It seems to me like the Warlock in the Beta is underpowered for the crucible. The titans have all that extra armor and better weapons, so one-on-one it is difficult. I am guessing that as the Warlock gets to a higher level, he will have some devistating options, but since we can only get to level 8, there doesn't seem to be enough to help the Warlock make up the difference. But it was fine for the single player, and I had a lot of fun using it.

In all honesty dude I found it all depends on what weapons you have. I played as a Warlock in the Alpha and had a scout rifle and shotgun that both did over 100 damage. I was kicking ass.

In the beta, the highest I have found is a 61. I have a 61 special weapon shotgun (and it isn't even green, so it has no special properties), and I think a 58 scout rifle (that one is green). I had weapons over 100 in the alpha too. If other people are still having 100s in the beta, then maybe that is a problem.

i played warlock but i heard that hunter will be invisible on the third powers sets so i might be a hunter for sure now

I've tried them all but I like the Warlock for his badass Jedi robes and his super is easier to use for me.

Titan for 2 reasons.

1. Fist of Havoc
2. Sexy Armor, can't wait for my gold chest plate.

Warlock is clearly the best one. He uses Force Push as his melee attack and does the Big Bang Attack as his super charge.

Also the force push can gain you extra health from the enemy if you upgraded enough

Titan because when I punch someone in the face I want them to fly across the room!
(Thats why I chose the Gunzerker in Borderlands2)

Hunter but I wish I had chose Titan or Warlock. I was a Warlock in the alpha and enjoyed the magic stuff you could do. As a hunter the special overcharge stuff is not all that fun or interesting.

I tried and reached the level 8 cap with all three types. Great fun and really impressed with Bungie's control feel and setup.
So looking forward to September and seriously thinking about upgrading my Amazon preorder.

Titan and Wizards seem to be the FOTM characaters, especially against singe targets. I didnt see that many Titans. But when you are being over run by 20 enemies at one time the Titan Smash saves the day.

Not to mention I love firing the rocket launchers and machine guns. Can the other classes use these weapons? I didnt play them.

Yes they can be used on Warlocks and same probably goes for Hunters.

All classes can use all weapons. What I don't know is whether one class is more proficient with a certain weapon than another.

Out of Titan and Warlock I liked Warlocks supercharge much more than the ground pound and same goes for that badass vortex grenade. The only thing I don't like about the Warlock is the class based item is hardly noticeable while the Titan has a obvious cloth. That and in the beta I kept getting ugly brown and yellow armor while I got a sick red theme on my Titan. Once the beta is up on Xbone I will give the Hunter a shot.

Can't wait Wednesday seems so far away and September even more so.

I played as all three in the alpha and have done the same with the beta. I started off with an exo hunter, then created a human titan, and finished off the group with an awoken warlock. I will most likely do the same with the full game because I honestly like all three and can see myself wanting to change it up a bit after playing as one of the others for awhile.
