Just before the new generation of consoles began, Microsoft have been pushing the so called power of the cloud for the Xbox One.
"Hammerwatch II's journey to Xbox has been long and perilous. After first launching on Steam in the fall of 2023, the game finally turned up on PlayStation 5 last December. Since then, Xbox gamers who enjoyed the original Hammerwatch and the sublime Heroes of Hammerwatch have been anxiously awaiting their turn at the long-promised sequel. At last, the wait is nearly over because Hammerwatch II will hit Xbox and PlayStation 4 on April 23," says Co-Optimus.
Joe 'Three Sheets' Neate (Executive Producer): "As I’m sure you can imagine, when it comes to Sea of Thieves my days are full of numbers. Development costs, active servers, days until the next update… Sometimes, though, a truly extraordinary number stands out – a number like 40 million, which I’m incredibly pleased to say is the number of pirates who’ve now set sail in Sea of Thieves!"
Garrr... more people to walk the plank and send to Davey Jones locker.
would have been funny to release this on talk like a pirate day.
40 million have set sail...that's great. How many are sailing now? Monthly active users....when it actually matters. How many people purchased the game is another important number.
Devstream 178 was filled with so many cool announcements for the game's community, and were able to ask a lot of questions about Warframe: 1999 and more!
Sounds good can't wait to see it in action.
Sony: we can stream entire games over the internet where calculations our done on our sever!
N4g: YAAAAA AWESOME!
Ms: we can do simple calculations and offload some cpu proccesses to the cloud.
N4g: BS, im gonna need to see this in action.
Well I'm just waiting for a game I gotta have that I can only get on Microsofts system before I pick a X1 up. I won't take concessions on multiplats. Quantum Brake might be it or if some of those JRPGs get localized that would do it but the system does sound promising. This all sounds great but MS has a habit of fibbing to sell consoles. Either way none of this "cloud" bs will come to fruition for a year or two. And I'm sure third parties won't use it unless they spend a ton of money rewriting thier engines to take advantage of it.
Guess am going to need to move somewhere with better Internet speeds or where every Goggle fiber is at .
I am looking forward to what this offers, even if it is a ways out. Nice one Rashid, you know full well what the outcome will be if you submit this, same goes for everyone that approves this same tired crap almost daily. I highly doubt anyone submitting and approving this are enthusiastic about XBL Cloud. Keep standing that dummy up to pummel it fellas.
