Sony's president of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida has spoken about the importance of third-party games such as Destiny as well as PS3 remasters like The Last of Us Remastered in the PlayStation's line-up towards the end of 2014, as well as the importance of new audiences the PlayStation 4 has found.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Vanillaware's tactical role-playing game Unicorn Overlord is a beautiful mix of old mechanics and new-age graphics, with over 65 unique recruitable characters and a rich storyline.
If you’re hyped for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, then you can play the first entry of the RPG series on PS4 and PS5 now for a very low price.
Sony's lineup has been pale in comparison since next gen started
They are trying to deceive the masses into thinking Destiny is exclusive
The games that are coming out look more like tech demos while all the fun to be had is on Xbox One
Titanfall, K.I season 2, Sunset Overdrive, Halo: MCC, Ori and the Blind Forest Forza Horizon 2, Project Spark... Sony didn't show up 2013 or this year
Weakest of the three consoles.
Eventually console makers will have their online store with previous titles, plus you can buy what you want at release. This will kill the brick and mortar stores. But it will drop prices and keep console games backward compatible for a long time. I can see all gaming being digital in 5 years, max. And this will keep the new console blues from happening again.
There's plenty of games to keep me happy this year, no need to rush the exclusives when they're not ready yet. Quality > Quantity.
There's not much this year, IMO.
A couple of multi-platform titles.
Hopefully the lineups stronger in 2015, but I'm sure it will be.
I'm really hoping, I did spend £400 in April on a brand-spanking new PS4 and at the moment it's just gathering dust.
