I did enjoy Nintendo offering especially seeing Zelda Wii U. I can't wait!! 2015 is truly insane. My most anticipated games of 2015 is Zelda, Witcher 3, TheDivision, and Rainbow 6.

AngelicIceDiamond3579d ago

This is great for Nintendo whens the last time they even won a E3?

They definitely went hard, again congrats to Nintendo.

CertifiedGamer3578d ago

If only Nintendo fans decided to buy the consoles instead of voting for its E3 conference survey then Wii U sales would become relevant.

The_Hero3578d ago

@CertifiedGamer
lol, true.
Where's the 3DS fanbase at?
I don't get people who just play on 1 platform.
Or hates for no good reason.

"whens the last time they even won a E3?"

I would say 2010.

medman3578d ago (Edited 3578d ago )

Wasn't it just a short time ago that gamers were moaning about the Wii U not having any games? And rightfully so, the Wii U has been out much longer than the ps4 or xbone and the lack of quality titles for the system was a bit confusing. Now everyone wants to reward Nintendo for finally producing some upcoming compelling content? This is what their E3 2013 should have been, and we should be playing these games this year!!! Nintendo is fully one year behind where they should be, and their sales suffered for it. Now, better late than never, but I think it's funny how quickly gamers forget just how long the Wii U has been out with little content.

KonsoruMasuta3579d ago

Woah, wasn't expecting that. I was actually expecting Sony to be the voter's picked choice for all three.

Agheil3579d ago (Edited 3579d ago )

I was too, but I feel that Nintendo has been somewhat of an under dog and people didn't expect much but they came, they showed games, and now, the people's choice award provided them with positive fame.

I don't know why I needed it to rhyme but whatever.

WiiUsauce3579d ago

Are you high?? Sony's entire e3 showing was a bore fest. I saw their presentation in the theater too and it was was a huge waste of time. You could even see people disappointed in the audience and dudes' girlfriends falling asleep lol.

Shnazzyone3579d ago

not every place is like N4G.

saviin3578d ago

@ Shnazzyone IGN is far worse than N4G which makes it that much more surprising.

Nevers0ft3578d ago

If you'd asked me before E3 I'd be inclined to agree. Even though we were aware that Ninty was going to do a "Digital Event" for E3, I suspect few of us expected them to go for it quite as hard as they did. They've been rightly praised for dedicating the full three days of E3 to demonstrating their upcoming games as opposed to showing heavily scripted gameplay videos... It really was a digital "event", and it was great :)

Chrischi19883578d ago

Nintendo was not just able to win it. They won it, fighting through all the bias and prejudices. And they even won against Sony, which is hard, not because Sony is so great, but because there is a big big hype around Sony and its console.

Ah now, that survey was taken while someone shouted Fallout 4 X1 exclusive, and many fanboys ran off.... Not fair...... :)

awesomeabe19983579d ago

Im done with gaming. Nintendo is for children! How is this even possible?! JK

Nintendo FTW! Nintendo is like Rocky. You know what? Even better! They are like Drillbit Taylor! Whenever those teens thought he was a wimp and a loser, he kicked that 18 year olds a$$!

Quite the accomplishent for Nintendo to score so high among the IGN fanbase.

paddy953579d ago

I hope Sony does a Sony direct next year. The stage thing seems drawn out and spends too much time on the hosts stumbling through their pre-rehearsed speeches and jokes.

Metallox3579d ago (Edited 3579d ago )

Finally the Nintendo Direct format becomes a success for Nintendo. The funny and nothing tedious show helped to provide a better perception of games to people. Reactions to Splatoon, Mario Maker and the Bayonetta 2 offer have been positive, for example.

Overall, Nintendo's presentation was overwhelming, excellent.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory3579d ago

it wasn't a Direct. It was the evolve form. Digital Event.

awesomeabe19983579d ago

Wait so if the Digital Event is the evolution of the Directs then there is a mega evolution?! And if it keeps evolving then...... E3 2015 is going to be a Mega Evolved Direct!

If these are all evolutions then.....Pokemon for Wii U confirmed!!!!!! Wait but there was that urban legend of Pikachu evolving in SSB 64 so...... pokemon and fighting....Pokken fighters E3 2015.

Wait one sec! Wouldnt this be a 3rd Pokemon spin off on a home console? 3rd=3..... Half Life 3 confirmed as a Wii U exclusive!

Wait one sec! Valve....Half Life....3? Portal 3 also Wii U exclusive!

Wait... revival of old franchises? 3? Oh shiiiii*! Shenmue 3 confirmed!

weekev153579d ago

Lol awesomeabe. Bubs up, funny.

awesomeabe19983579d ago

Thanks weekev15! I felt that this was a good time to come back from being idle on N4G.

BattleN3579d ago

They made up for all the past fail e3's!
