The title of this article "Seriously, Where’s my Game?" really bothers me. How are these "your games"? Did they pay for the game already? It seems ridiculous that this author has such a zealous entitlement to these games (many of which either haven't even been announced or are undergoing perfectly normal development schedules like ME4 or Elder Scrolls).

These developers have to pay a lot of money and put a lot of work into these projects. The people hurts most by these setbacks and delays are obviously the developers themselves. They are the ones who lose days and weeks away from their family to work on this.

Gabe Newell has said NUMEROUS times that Valve is working on Episode 3.

Half life series has brought each time new interesting gameplay elements, great story, a level design a decade ahead of it's time and just awesome gameplay.

We have yet to see something better on many level then half life 2 and even half life 1 and the only game that could do that is the next in the series.

It's not cod, uncharted or gears where every game is just more of the same with a bit of polish.

As soon as I first heard Valve was making a console, I immediately assumed both HL3 and L4D3 would be platform exclusives to help their launch. I still believe that to be the case, until I'm proven wrong.

Gabe himself and other members of Valve have stated they are never having games be platform exclusive to Steam Box. They said thats against what Valve is all about. So if Half Life 3, Portal 3, or L4D3 ever come out. They wont be exclusive.

That's not Valve's thing. When they release Half-life 3 (whenever that is) they want as many people as possible to be able to play it, including long-time PC gamers.

Besides, it seems pretty sleazy to support PC gamers and then make them buy another PC-esque device to play such an anticipated title if it plays just as well on Steam on PC.

I agree. Valve has been very liberal about how they release games on multiple platforms. I highly doubt they will enforce exclusivity on software as big as Half-Life 3.

People need to realize Steambox target audience is PC gamers not console only gamers and maybe encourage some potential PC gamers, but it is by no means being made to compete with Sony, MS, Nintendo. They have even said countless times Valve is not making their games exclusive to it.

GOW should have died after 3rd part, now it's just soulless cash zombie, the same goes about Mass Effect that wasn't even able to finish game series properly.

Has anyone read the story, god of war,elder scrolls and the avenger. If I'm not mistaken elder scrolls online is out on pc and console soon,god of war assention came out a couple of years ago and there was a Avengers game onWii U came about 1 year or 18 months ago. The only one is mass effect 4 but it's early days of this new gen and studios are working hard on other(new) stuff.

Fallout 4,Half-life 3,Beyond good & evil 2 and a sequel to Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Make it happen!

Sadly,I can see the first 3 games eventually coming out but with the recent canceling of World of Darkness,My hopes and expectations have gone way down for a sequel or spiritual successor to Bloodlines.It may not be for everyone but IMO I think it is a diamond in the rough/timeless classic.

Almost forgot! Legacy of Kain! The Nosgoth MMO doesn't count.

I just want God of War IV and for it to be the best in the series, then I can just forget Ascension ever happened because its single player was so very disappointing.

I think if Half-Life 3 does not come before 2020 its highly unlikely that they will ever make it, the best we can hope its HL2 Ep3 i guess...

ps: Mass Effect "4" should not be on this list.

Dungeon Keeper 3. + any AAA RTS, doesn't matter whether it's a sequel or not, apart from the civilisation and total war series, the genre seems dead.
