Xbox One April System Update (Preview) update released

Manually install available updates. If a new system update is detected as available, a button will appear under 'Settings,'System that will display “Apply Available System Update.” Note: this feature is being enabled after this current update completes installation. This feature will be available to preview when the next update is made available

A new ability to automatically redeem a license code from console messages. For future console messages that include a 5x5 license code, a new option will appear to allow you to automatically redeem the license, versus having to copy and paste the license code.

Man, I hope voice recognition improvements come in the form of the Cortana assistant in a near future update. As it stands now, I find the voice commands useful, but it often takes too many steps to get what I want.

With Cortana, I can say "watch TV show x", and she'll find an app that has it and launch it. On xbox, I've gotta do a bing search, then execute several other commands to verify which app and edition I want to watch. Let's skip the middle actions...

The same goes for changing settings. I'd like to say "switch to party chat" and it goes . Now I have to say "snap party" wait till the app loads, the say "switch to party chat".

As it is now, voice commands are convienient, and they appear to be making improvements, but hopefully, Cortana integration is the end game.

My girlfriend got me an x1 for christmas. I have forza 5, dr5, KI and ryse. I'm no troll. Just prefer the ps4. Since I don't have live, why would I buy titanfall? KI I play couch multi with my friend.

This why i went with xbox this gen.
Sony took forever to update its UI and seeing how MS kept expanding its xbox live service sold me.

Some updates have helped me decide what third party game to get on the Xbox 360 or the ps3. Big example.... I bought borderlands 2 for 360 just because cross game chat was available in the UI. Many friends were at different parts of the game to always want to play together. All of us (7 of us) had both systems, but all decided on the 360 version of borderlands just because of that system feature. So I disagree with you Pedro and how you really took a jab at Autocad.

The lack of a party system on PS3 killed the fun of playing games with friends who are playing other games.

You do realize that when you say more games that is a pretty undefined stat right? By undefined i mean that you didn't put the usual AAA or some other line in the sand you chose.

Now, realizing that you have to know that you're incorrect.

Yes xbox one has 1 Retail exclusive more but upwards of about 20 total games less then ps4.

For once i agree with Autocad on ps3 not having a part system sucked.

Still and even on 360 i didn't really play games like SP in a party chat with other friends. I usually mic up to PLAY the games with friends. I guess i'm old school and i like to not be connected to someone every single second of the day.

Microsofts doing a great job at updating the system each month with great features. Sony needs to take notes with this. We have yet to have a big update while Microsoft is on their 2nd. Hopefully the big ps update comes to out this month
