It's good that you can handle southpark, great show. However there is more to horror than cheap jump scares and ghosts. What genre would you call agony if not horror? Satanic and demonic aren't genres, they're themes. Shock value and gore are exactly what made the saw and hostel movies popular years ago. Those movies are horror, obviously. Shock value and gore are elements of horror because they horrify.
