God Of War PS4 Gets Another Patch 1.10 Before Launch, Patch Notes Detailed

There is a second update for God of War ahead its official launch and it might fix some of the issues with the game.

Even the mighty God of War is not exempt from Day one Patches. I don't know if I can wait for 7GB to download though, I know that I won't be able to resist booting up the game as soon as it drops through my letter box.

like most games its been finished for awhile. so they gonna find stuff to patch in it before the release day to release a patch.
but you are right waiting foe that 7gb patch would be like hell expecially if it goes slow

but everyone on at the same time might make it go slow as, plus mix that with slow net and could take an hour or more to DL, normally not the case but could happen and i know i wont be waiting for an hour for the update i'll just get into the game while it downloads. but i have fast internet so should only take 3-5 min to DL for me

@0B1Biker: Do you realise that the download speed varies depending on your bandwidth? Your 5 or 10 minutes patch will take me 2 hours and 30 minutes in the best case scenario.

I don't think photo mode was actually promised. No doubt it'll get implemented at a later date, a la Horizon Zero Dawn, but I think it was very much an afterthought.

These after Gold master patches have got to stop, if the game isn't done don't release. The ubiquity of the internet makes it easy to rush things out and fix small issues later

You are wrong about the day one patches.

Devs continue working on games even after they have gone gold. There is always things developers can do to improve their games. And that is what patches are for.

Thing is, bud, the game without the patch is a 10/10. So, if you don't feel like waiting for a patch to fix some minor issues, then you should have no problem playing what is considered a masterpiece by most reviewers. The patch is just ironing an already ironed shirt to get out those last pesky wrinkles.

I find patches one of the worst things about gaming,in the future 10 years or less we will not be able to download the patch and all we get is an incomplete game,frankly this is lame in my opinion.Games should release completed since we payed for that.If its not ready just delay it!Simple!

In software development, patches or fixes are normal. These are essential to provide a better and less bug free software.

On the average user these might be a hassle especially to those who have slow internet. But you can still play without installing the patches/fixes.
