It's a question that has risen, this article looks at why cross-platform isn't compatible currently, within the nature of competitiveness.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Behavior Interactive Inc. revealed a new content update for Dead By Daylight, with a Chatoic Modifier, Store Update, and TOME 19: SPLENDOR.

I'm not sure why we are trying to analyze business tactics like this. I mean, I, as a PS4 gamer, would gain from this deal. I don't care if MS does too.
It’s amusing seeing people hostile against the idea and hearing their petty excuse why it shouldn’t happen, when the ones that benefit from it are gamers and developers that make games with a small amount of concurrent users. If the tech is there, I say use it.
Doesn't seem to me that PS4 owners are very interested in cross-play. All the noise about it is coming from Xbox fans. So why should Sony care?
We've gone over this again and again. It's not a bad thing to have cross play. But Sony doesn't have to say yes to their competitor because their competitor wants it. Some of the community also seem to ignore the business side: The purchase of a console to play with your friends or relatives.
Microsoft had no problem saying no last Gen because gamers were buying Xbox 360s to play with their friends in the US and UK. It was BUSINESS to say no to Sony because that meant gamers had to buy an Xbox 360 and pay for XBL to play. That meant more money in Microsoft's pocket to say no.
Now the shoe is on the other foot and Sony has gone from being in the red and selling parts of their business, to being in the black making profits while still making some of the best hardware, some of the best games and fun new platforms like psvr.
Which also makes Sony money from online play with PSPlus and the purchase of their products not being sold at a loss as each product Sony sells now is sold above the cost to make it.
Sony are asked to cut into their sales, cut into their profits, cut into their PS Plus new activations to make Microsoft happy and give them some players to play with because they are losing and have less online players than Sony. But keep saying that XBL has the biggest online community or the best place to play which is false. I also doubt Microsoft has 30 million XBL paying accounts this Gen. They lost money losing to Sony this Gen. Not just from the failed DRM policies.
If cross platform happens, be it on current platforms, future platforms or vr, then great. More fun for everyone. But don't think for a minute that this isn't an attempt by Microsoft to cut into Sony's sales and profit making. Microsoft knows exactly what they are doing. Because Sony tried last Gen to cut into Microsoft's sales while attempting to appear nice. It's all BUSINESS.
